Into His Hand (hero Dabi x villain Hawks)

Thinking about him

Later that day

"What happened?" Toga asks as she interrupts Dabi's train off thoughts, "Huh?!" Dabi flinches as he activists his quirk stares straight into toga's deep bright yellow eyes, "Ha" he slowly says as a slight smile started to appear of his face, "Uhhh" Toga looks confused 🫤

'Her eyes look much more better then they did before, when I first met her. They were so bleak and depressing to look at before, but now they've cleared up. It's good,' Dabi couldn't help but be proud of himself for helping her, "Nothing" he says as he breaks eye contact and pats her head, messing up her blonde haired buns even more.

"Heyyyy" Toga says as she struggles to get Dabi's hand off her.

"What were you thinking about?" Toga asks as she fixes her hair

Dabi's POV

"Ah, nothing" I lie through my teeth, I was thinking of a certain red bird, Hawks. I mean he- I just couldn't get him off my mind. I can't help it. He was just- I don't even know.

I can't get him out of my head. Damn it. I can't think about anything else at this point.

Dabi lays in his dark themed room, trying to fall asleep, but all he could think about was the conversation he had with Hawks.

'What did he possibly mean by that. He didn't want to offend me, ha. He's nothing like the rumors. Wasn't he supposed to hate heroes or something, he was kind of polite, well maybe not, but sort of'

'WAIT'

'Am I defending him, heck no, he's your enemy Dabi! ENEMY. He has the blood of multiple people on his hands, don't you dare think kindly about him, he's done nothing to get forgiveness, ya, don't think about him.'

Dabi then proceeds to spend all the night thinking about him.

"Hey, what's up." Twice asks as he looks at Dabi, "You look tired, don't tell me, you stayed up all night. That's very naughty, its fine your an adult, still you shouldn't waste your health" Twice proceeds to argue with himself as Toga cuts in, "So what kept you up?"

"I was just thinking about the incident" he responds shortly

"You fought the league of villain's right?"

"I encountered them, yes." he paused for a moment, "Something was off with the bird though"

"Like what-" Toga didn't get the chance to finish her question as she was rudely interrupted by a scream, angry Bakugo screaming, at Deku, "NERD, HOW DARE YOU" 🤬

"What did I do Kachan?" Deku asks trying to calm him down

"Ya Bakubro, we need to calm down, just tell Deku what he did" Krishima says as he tries to help Deku

"Enough of this yelling" Toga pouts as she proceeds to hit Bakugo on the head, "Do you have to be screaming my ears off everytime I see you I swear"

"Oh hi, Ms. Toga, Mr. Twice, Dabi" Deku greets them

"You can drop the Mister and Miss, Deku." Toga responds as she turns to face him.

"Alright, sure." Deku nods, "Oh ya before I forget Dabi, we need to talk. I mean about what happened. I think I know why it happened-" Deku was cut off as Dabi grabs him and picks him up, throwing him over his shoulder, carrying him away.

"Um, Dabi what- what are you doing?" Deku stutters as Dabi starts walking off. "We can discuss that at the meeting we're going to" he responds as he walks off, saying "I'll see you guys later" to the others.

"DEKU, GET YOUR *SS BACK HERE, YOU HEAR ME. NERD!!!!!!!" Bakugo screams as Kirishima holds him back trying to calm him down.

"Dabi, can you put me down? This is embarrassing" Deku asks as he looks at people staring at them. "Oh right, I forgot about you" Dabi responds putting him down

"So you just forgot you were carrying me?!" Deku asks

"So what was the meeting you mentioned?" Deku couldn't help but ask

"It's like a plan gathering in a way, we're gathering together to make a plan to defeat the LOV, and since you are involved, along with you having a connection to the LOV because of One for All. Plus you were there when they attacked so I figured, I might as well bring you along, I mean, you, Shoto, and Bakugo are interning for Endeavor anyways so it should be fine." Dabi explains

"Ah, that makes sense." Deku says nodding his head aggressively.

"Also explain what you figured out." Dabi says as he points at a alleyway, initiating a turn.

"Well I was up all night thinking abo-"

"You were what-" Dabi exclaims as he quickly gains composer, remembering he was doing the same, "Never mind continue" he sighs

Deku was kind of shocked but continues, "Well as I was saying, I think I know what is going on, I think that Hawks took a liking to people like you." ♥️

HUH" Dabi says in confusion 😕

"I mean think about it, your a good guy, somehow, you convinced Toga and Twice to change, right? It could be he doesn't have anything against you so he simply is nice to you. I mean, it could be like hero killer stain's ideology or something. Plus, something about him just seems-" Deku didn't get the luxury of finishing because Dabi finished his sentence saying, "Calming"😌

"Uh, what now?" Deku asks in confusion, "Oh, sorry, I was just thinking about something else." he says, a total lie, he was listening and his response was calming.

"Hmm, ok" Deku says, "I was going to say strange, he doesn't seem like someone who would be the leader of a dangerous organization."

"Not everything is what it seems" Dabi says, "Sometimes looks can be deceiving, he is someone capable of mass murder, thousands have died by his hands, or well feathers." Dabi explains

"Right" Deku responds, "Anyway's that's just my guess, I think there's more to him then the eye can see. He might be insane, but there is something fueling his motives."

"I won't disagree with that. Some no most villains, have a good reason to be villains, while I might not agree with their methods, I find myself agreeing with most of them. Take Toga for example, the whole reason she was a villain, is because of her quirk. She didn't choose her quick, did she? She never asked to have it. She wanted to fit in. She wanted to be normal in a way. Yet, people, including her parents, didn't agree with her. Its pathetic. People are scum. They judge things without getting to know the whole story. I'm just glad she's okay right now. She always wanted to be a hero. I'm glad I could help her with that." Dabi rants

"Right" Deku says with a smile, admiring him for caring about even his enemies. He's a good guy, Deku thought.

"Anyways we're almost there, Endeavor's agency is where we're meeting." Dabi says pointing to it as he speeds up

"Ok" Deku responds doing the same

They both get inside and as Dabi turns the corner to go to the elevator, he bumps into someone. "I'm sorry, are you ok?" Dabi asks as he bows his head slightly as an apology.

"Its alright- oh Dabi?" a smile appears on the masked Hawks, or well better known as Mr. Keigo with his mask on.

"Mr. Keigo!!" Deku exclaims smiling, "Its nice to see you again"

"Ah, its you. The guy from the ice cream shop." Dabi says thinking, 'The suspicious one, I feel bad for keeping my guard up against him but still, something about him feels off, like I've seen him somewhere before'

"What are you doing here?" asks Deku, "Oh, I'm just-" before he can answer, Dabi's phone rings 📳, Dabi looks at his phone, turning it around so Deku and Mr. Keigo could see.

Incoming call from Endeavor😡

"We better get going" Dabi says grabbing Deku's wrist, "It was nice seeing you again" he says to Mr. Keigo as he starts walking to the elevator.

Keigo watches as the elevator door opens and closes, "It's always a pleasure to run into you, my dear Dabi" he wispers to himself as his lips turn into a greedy smile.
