-While Victor and Elsa were in high school, the Mayor still didn't like the idea of them being together. So he discreetly paid a few boys to try and ask Elsa out on a date, but she rejected every single one. Her heart belonged to Victor and only Victor. When Elsa found out what her uncle had been doing, she and her parents confronted him and shouted at him to stay out of her love life. Finally, after fifteen minutes of talking and with the help of a nasty glare from his sister, Bergermeister reluctantly agreed to stop doing what he was doing

-After the Dutch Day incident, Mayor Bergermeister eventually got the town windmill rebuilt. He had to convince a lot of people and raise a lot of money for that to happen (mainly with the help of a ton of fundraisers that went on for well over half a year) and by the time the new windmill was presented to the town, Bergermeister was more than relieved to be done with that painful process
