So anyway, THE WHITE DAY....
Every March 14, Korea celebrates White Day.... Though hindi po ito national holiday, but somehow they do celebrate this day... Specially couples, or ung mag jowa.
Anu nga ba ang white day ng Korea?
Well, medyo related po ito sa VALENTINES DAY, that we also celebrate every Feb. 14.
Feb.14 is hearts day right? That usually girls received flowers and chocolates from their boyfriend or lover... And they will also have a special dinner date in a special restaurant...That is the usual one, and we filipinos have that kind of tradition too.. daba...?
But in Korea, yes, they also have that holiday, feb.14 for valentines day, but..... hindi si boylet ang magbibigay ng chocolate......
Kundi.... si girlfriend..... yes! siya nga... si girl ang mag eeffort na gumawa or bumili ng chocolates for the boyfriend or lover..... .
My reaction when I learned about that was.... "huh? Why? It should be the boy? right?" Kase ganun tayo dito sa Pilipinas, or sa Amerika din...
Pero sa kanila, iba,.. hehe, naloka nga ako eh,.. Parang hindi ko matatanggap na ako? magbibigay ng chocolate kay boyfie? Valentines? duh,.. haha, pero yun nga, its their culture.. iba.. hehe
Pero.!!! hindi naman papatalo ang mga gurlash of course..
Kaya eto, may WHITE DAY for girls...
WHITE DAY is the day equivalent to Valentines day, but its the other way around.. hindi na si boyfriend and tatanggap ng chocolates, kundi si girlfriend nah.. Oh diba, bawi din sila.. hehee,
Hindi lang naman sa girlfriend pwede ibigay, boys can also give chocolates to their female friends, co-workers, to their Oma(mother), and daughter. Basta gurl.. Yun sabi nila.. ^.^v
Kaya last March 14, the girls received chocolates or candies from their boyfriend, husband or male friends.. saya noh? Iniinggit nga ako eh.. pfft..
Add ko lang din.. Related to Valentines Day and White Day...
They also have the BLACK DAY....
oh diba, sila nah.. sila na ang madaming holiday.. hahaa,
I believe that Black Day is next month.. April 14 ata.. hehee
BLACK DAY is the day for...............................................................................
SINGLES.. oh well, single na mga walang ka relasyon.. or sabi nila mga sawi daw? hayy.. ang saklap..
Kase during this day, people who didn't received any presents or gifts from someone special, they eat black noodles.. I forgot the korean name for that noodle..
Basta they eat daw that noodle.. Medyo pangit daw yung lasa.. eww... or ewan? ehee
I asked them why do they have to eat that super ewwii noodle...
Sabi nila, its a symbol that you are single and available.. ahhaha
