Hallo fellahs! Eto ulit another chubaa from Koreans...
I don't know if you've already heard about their mandatory military service...
Yes, meron sila... but only for MEN... oo, mga lalake lang...
All men in the family, when they reach the age of 18, required silang pumasok ng military.. To serve in their country.. And they need to complete 21 months of military service..
Haba noh?? haha, when I asked them how was their experience, isa lang halos sagot nila, terrible daw.. Hahaha, something like unpleasant experience daw.. hahaa, eh kasi nman, sobrang hirap daw..
Kase, after high school nila (at 18 graduate plng sila ng high school) required na nga sila mag military, wala silang takas.. because its in their law.. malufet! haha,
Konting info kung pano ang kanilang service...
First, they will have a 5 weeks training daw.. Wherein, matutunan nila ang mga basics.. basics ng pagiging sundalo..
After the training, they will be divided daw into groups or chuba... ewan! hahaaa, bsta, they will be divided into military branches of army, navy, air force and marine corps. Dyan daw naka depende kung gaano katagal sila mag sserve sa military, because each branches has different durations daw.. kalurkey..
But what about women? hmnn... women can also serve, but only as ROTC.. Reserve Officer Trainig Corps.. (familiar ba? hehe) yes, they can do that too... but not mandatory tulad ng sa mga lalake...
Kaya, all Korean male cannot question their duty, no matter how rich or famous they are.. Singers and actors that will avoid the draft, they can put their career into jeopardy... tskk.. Kasi, the media there will reveal or ibubulgar nila ang mga balita na yun, tss.. importante pa nman sa kanila ang career. at hindi sila pwede masira because of that..Kaya no choice sila but to enter the military.. As far as I know, famous korean Actor and Singer Raine (Justin of full house) is in the military now... Kasalukuyan siyang nag sserve doon.. And also si actor ng secret garden, Yon Bin, (not sure of the spelling) is in there din.. kaya ayun, wala tlga takas.. hahaa
BUT...!!!
May takas din pala ung iba,... hahaa, exception kumbaga..
Yung merong problem sa health, they are exempted.. something like, if they have problem sa eye sight, or if they undergone into some kind of surgery, they are exempted as long as of course, meron patunay,... and also men with many Tatoos, they are not allowed to enter military..
And....
For the GIRLFRIENDS who wants to see their boyfriend inside the military, meron din daw pala training... takte nman... ang bangis.. ahhaha, kaya pala, most of the men na pumapasok doon, nakikipag break daw mga gf's nila sa kanilaa... hayss.. kalongkot.. sawi na nga, pahihirapan pa sa loob ng camp... hukhukkk
So ayun lang... .
Isa kasi ito sa mga mahahalagang gampanin nila sa bansa nila...
And dito sa Pinas, meron din tayo diba? But not so rigid tulad nila.. As far as I know, sa school lang required.. ROTCs and COCCs... in high school and college dba? its part of the curriculum... :)
