Saige was more than excited for the first bonfire of the year, but also nervous. She didn't know how she'd be able to handle seeing the deb bitches again after the past year. They didn't even know how bad she'd been hurt by them. How deeply words cut. The only person who stuck by her was Shayla Wang. She stood up for Saige when she was literally too weak to stand up for herself. She was one of the only people in Cousins she could trust after last summer. And she couldn't wait to party with her girl again.

Conrad held Saige's hand the whole ride to the beach. He knew how hard it would be for her to see the deb girls again, whether she'd like to admit it or not. Saige was stubborn, that's one of the things Conrad admired about her, he loved how she got when she would put her hands on her hips like an angry toddler. As Saige downed her third white claw of the night, before they'd already gotten to the bonfire, Conrad became increasingly worried.

"Woah Sai, maybe you should slow down on those fucking white claws?!" Steven was concerned about his sister. She hasn't been well the past year and he didn't want her to fall back down that path when she had just started improving herself. Seeing Saige loose herself in the alcohol wasn't easy for Steven. One of his best friends was falling apart, and he didn't know what he could do to put her back together.

"I'm fine Steven, I can have like 8 of these and only have a little buzz, don't underestimate me." Saige 'reassured' her twin.

"Yeah okay." Steven said mockingly.

"Actually, I've seen it," Conrad joined in the conversation, "last summer Sai had like more drinks than you can count on two hands and could still almost walk in a straight line." Steven shot him a look. "But Aige, you know, how about we save the drinking until the party?"

"Ugh fine." Conrad was the only person Saige would be willing to listen to. Something about his voice, his eyes, she just fell into a trance or something, and she would do whatever he wanted. Conrad took the drink from Saige and drank the rest.

"Hey!" Saige wasn't content with that. Conrad just smirked. Suddenly, she didn't care anymore.

"That's good Aige."

"I know why do you think I've been drinking them?" Saige playfully rolled her eyes as Jeremiah pulled up to the bonfire. Conrad held the door open for her 'like a gentleman' she told him. Saige spotted Shayla right away and ran towards her.

"Shayla!!!" Saige yelled.

As soon as Shayla heard her she ran right over and hugged Saige.

"Oh.my.god. It's been forever!" Shayla exclaimed before she brought the girl into another embrace.

"Ugh, I know. How've you been?"

"Good, we travelled Europe, I met sooo many hot guys and they had the best parties there."

"Ugh, lucky. You know what? Speaking of party's, let's go get a drink." The girls ran over to the drink table and got the night started. Saige picked a Twisted Tea, one of her regular picks (other than White Claws of course) and Shayla picked a High Noon. A short while later, Saige was 7 drinks in and the alcohol was slowly starting to have an affect on her. Especially when her little sister showed up in what looked like, in her opinion, something a cheap slut would wear. Which means the dress was definitely Taylor's.

Shayla had gone to talk to Steven, which Saige was surprisingly supportive of, so Saige was standing with Jeremiah and some of his friends at the time Belly walked in. Saige was heading over to her sister to give her shit, but Steven got there first.

"What are you doing here? And what the fuck are you wearing?!" Steven questioned his younger sister. At this moment, Saige noticed an older guy with his arm on Belly's.
