I was waiting in the house, the clone of me knocked out and his memories were now in my head. not much to take into account. just needed the clone out of the way today. luckily, it was a weekend.
jim didn't explain much during this time. He was in armour and on edge the entire night. only telling me angor was angry with him and might be hunting him. So, guess my current plan was on hiatus.
I stood in my armour near the back door before seeing the sun coming up. I walked back to the kitchen to see where Strickler was now.
Strickler was asleep and tied to a chair. jim however, was holding a sock right in his face and had his sword ready beneath his throat.
strickler slowly woke up only to sniff the sock and pull back with a disgusted groan and retching.
"Ugh! What is this?" he grunted as He leaned his body to the side, scooting the chair with him. Jim however was still leaning over, still holding the sock with an unamused look.
"Wakey, wakey. We survived the night with no sign of Angor Rot. Congratulations." Jim stood up straight, crossing his arms. "I thought I'd bring you some breakfast.: He tossed the sock, making a direct hit to Strickler's face who had turned and scoffed. I chuckled. I was out of armour right now and leaning against the tabletop.
"I don't eat socks and I don't appreciate being tied up." Strickler scolded Jim. With jim stepped around the chair to the backside, sword hanging to the side.
"I asked you to protect me, not torture me." strickler complained, so, With a slice of the sword, the ropes dropped from Strickler's wrists.
"And I said I'd keep you safe, not comfortable." Jim hissed while strickler rubbed his sore wrists. Turning to face the window, Jim and Strickler looked at the streaming sunlight, realizing they were finally safe from Angor's attack. The Trollhunter stretched as Strickler pushed himself up from the chair.
"Well, sun is up." Strickler added in as Jim freed himself from his armour, letting the amulet and the armour vanish.
"We'll have until sundown to get me as far away as possible," he said making jim groan. "Fine," Jim said, stepping over to his walkie-talkie. I picked it up and tossed it to jim while keeping my eyes on Strickler.
"Let me call the team," jim said as He lifted the device to his mouth, speaking into it. "Trollhunter to Warhammer, you copy?" he asked as Strickler crossed his arms.
Strickler sarcastically mocked, "Oh goodie, The Puberty Patrol is on the case. I feel so safe." he said but i simply glared at him. "considering you came to us, you should feel safe." i said making Strickler pause and look away.
I watched jim trying to speak to toby only for strickler to rip the device away.
"Do you really think your friends will have any chance against that killer? They'll be a liability!" he said before Jim pulled his walkie-talkie out from Strickler's hand, his face twisted in irritation.
"May I remind you, you destroyed Angor's soul? He'll be out for blood, be it yours or theirs." strickler said making me surprised.
"hold up. you what?" i asked jim who sighed. "yeah, but, it was angor who did it. he tried to cut me when I took the killstone, and well. his ring broke." he said without looking at me.
I looked at him before morgana spoke to me. "this isn't good, angor will be berserk now. his soul was the thing keeping him sane." morgana said making me growl. "so I guess killing him will be the only option." I said and morgana confirmed it. "correct... you ok with that?"
