I yawned some as I walked down the hallway and quietly down the stairs.

It was around 2 am and I woke up coughing. So I decided to come down to the kitchen to get something to drink.

I made sure to take my time going down the stairs. I was not in the mood to bust my ass. Wiping my eye as I got got closer to the bottom I realized the kitchen light was on.

Turning into the kitchen I was met with Matthew standing against the counter in sweats and a tank top, drinking something.

He turned, looking over his shoulder soon as I walked in. I gave him a small smile before going past him. I zoned out while drinking the bottle of water I had grabbed from the fridge. I felt a presence behind me.

Bm: couldn't sleep?

I shook my head before turning around to face him.

Me: I was thirsty.

He nodded his head before crossing his arms and leaning back against the island.

Bm: I know I said it before.... but I'm sorry. You know about what happened that day.

I nodded my head slowly, looking down at my feet.

Me: why'd you say it?

He took a deep breath.

Bm: I grew up being the least favorite. In every category. After my dad died, mom practically threw me to the side. For a new man and his son. They were one big happy family and it was always so painfully obvious I didn't belong. My step brother had a best friend. His name was Rin. He was the only one who was nice to me. But even he wasn't a Saint. He wouldn't stick up for me when they bullied be or step in when I was being abused... he just never went out of his way to make things any worse for me. One day he disappeared. Then V became even more unbearable. I remember the day he got his tattoo. Then it all made since. Sometimes I would consider running away or just ending it all. But it changed when I got here. I will admit that you've intrigued me from the start. We had lots in common and for once in my life, it felt like I could relate to someone. I never found myself wanting someone the way I wanted you. But then.... your brother and his crew were talking about rin, when I put two and two together it frustrated me. Finally, someone for me and my step family found a way to taint it. In the moment I respected your decision to not take things any further, but your comment reminded me of your brothers conversation, and my emotions got the best of me. My comment wasn't necessary and was very aggressive. I'm sorry.

Me:... you think I'm tainted?

Bm: huh? No not like that... more like. Fuck, ...what I'm trying to say is.

I started laughing and he smacked his lips.

Bm: for fucks sake.

Me: So I assume the attitude towards Xavier is the same?

He shook his head quickly.

Bm: no I just don't like the guy. He's kinda corny and seems like the type to cause us unnecessary drama.

I laughed

Me: honestly you may have a point. But he isn't all bad. You just have to get to know him some.

Bm: I have so many other things I'd rather do.

Me: like?

He rubbed his hands over his hair

Bm: for starters.. I'd like to get to know you better. But my mom randomly decided she wants to come visit me at school. Which is out of character bc that woman could care less about my existence. I just know this has something to do with V.

Me: hmmm... but you don't go to school?

He mugged me before giving me a straight face.

Bm: no shit Sherlock.

I rolled my eyes.

Me: oh gimme a break. I'm half sleep. So what are you gonna do?

Bm: idk... that's where you come in. I had planned to talk to you about it tomorrow like yooni said but we're here now so....

Me: oh you want my opinion on what you should do?

He sat at the island nodding.

Bm: mr.woo believes in you and your planning... so yea, what you got?

I sat across from him. Placing my water bottle down.

Me: okay bet... this is what we're gonna do.

Bm POV:

Chris: awww... look at the cute couple... I say we pore hot water on him so she loses feelings for him

*SMACK*

Chris: ouch!!!

Yooni: shut up its too early for your bullshit.

I rub my eye leaning up after hearing voices.

Only to realize I'm still in the kitchen. I began stretching while looking around. Only to see the guys staring at me.

Bm: what?

Fuck. My back was killing me.

Ben: I see you two finally had a talk...

I looked at him confused until I glanced across the island seeing bia laying with her head on the table.

Me: oh.... yea we said a few things

Chris: that cannot be comfortable I just know her neck is gonna hurt.

Yooni: bm take her upstairs please. I wanna eat and I'm not tryna have her waking up in a bad mood trying to kill everyone.

I nodded and stood up going around the other side of the island before scooping her up bridle style

Me: alright I'll see you guys later.

I walked up stairs and into her room where I put her on the bed and pulled the covers over her. I checked on her once to make sure she was good before walking two doors down to my room.

She stayed up all night to help me plan. Let's see how this goes.
