After a few months, Daiyu started gaining back all the muscles she had lost and participated with Po and the Furious Five during training sessions. And in the meantime, she told them her story while keeping the most sensitive parts to herself, which were a lot.

They had offered her their full support and in no time, they became closer. To Daiyu, it felt like she had known them for years and that had made it far more easier for her.

She became healthy again, physically at least. Shifu invited Daiyu to join Po, Tigress and Mantis on their task and she came along without complaining.

The five of them walked down the main road of the village, following Shifu to the place where they should be at.

"Princess Mei Li's peace mission is of the utmost importance. We can't afford any mistakes, Po." Shifu said, glancing back as Po scowled at him.

"How come you never say, "We can't afford any mistakes, Tigress" or- oh, noodle rolls!" Po beamed, getting distracted by a cart filled with noodle rolls passing him, until Shifu grabbed his finger to keep him moving.

"Ow, ow, ow, ow!" Po hissed, feeling Shifu's grip tightening a little too hard around his finger.

"You have to get Princess Mei Li safely to the king of the Qidan. She may be only a child, but she is royalty."

"So, she's a kid princess? Oh, man, I'm perfect for this gig!" Po replied as he leaped in front of Shifu and the other warriors, stopping them from walking any further.

"'Cause if there's one thing I love, it's kids. And if there's one thing that loves me, it's also kids."

"But she's also a princess. There's a strict protocol: Never make eye contact, always address her with deference and avoid touching, unless absolutely necessary." Shifu explained.

"Those are indeed very strict." Daiyu whistled lowly as Tigress and Mantis agreed with her.

"What if she wants to hug my sheer awesomeness?" Po asked, when he suddenly heard a little girl's voice shouting from behind him. And turning around, he saw a little piggy girl dressed in royal robes as her goat servants stood near her carrying cart.

"Stop it! Do not touch the royal silks! Kiss my feet!" She demanded as one of her servants proceeded to bend over and kissed her feet.

"But wash them first!" Mei Li added, the goat washed her feet tentatively and kissed them again.

After that, Mei Li snapped her fingers and gestured downwards, making the goats lay flat on their stomachs, forming a two stair ramp so that Mei Li exited her carrying cart and angrily stomped over to Po, Daiyu, Tigress and Mantis.

"Cute!" Po squealed.

"Not cute." Daiyu shook her head.

"How dare you keep me waiting!" Mei Li snapped, pointing her imperial staff towards the four kung fu masters and making them step back, except for Daiyu and kind of got poked into her stomach.

"I am a princess! If this happens again, I shall have you all beheaded!" Mei Li threatened. Po was taken back at the princess's words, but quickly laughed it off.

"Yeah! Behead everyone! Who's with- Ouph!" Po grunted when Mei Li jabbed him in the gut with her staff, causing the top of the staff the break off and drop onto the ground.

"Insolent jiggly mess! You broke my imperial staff!" Mei Li shouted, making Po back away in shock and worry.

"Nah, uh. You broke it." Po stammered.

"You dare accuse me of lying? I want him executed, at once!" Mei Li yelled at her goat servants, who cowered down and dropped their jaws in disbelief.
