World Reborn
War that lasted a lifetime
Ends for thrice the price
But even as victory was here
He still lingered
Within the gutters of dreams
He made nightmares there
Lurking in the deep.
He tempts us again
As he did before with the Veil
Instead of fear and dreams
But comfort and peace.
Aftermath
We rebuild what was lost, shifted the sands of time
To rewrite the world.
As we unveiled the last, nothing but his presence still
Lingers.
I can't help but think,
Did we really win?

As the world turned from red to gray, and as the rain fell for ten days across the world, the canyons and mines flooded out the lying masks.
The Tower that split the sky sunk into the earth, never to be seen again.
As the world shifted, it began anew.
But it begins again,
With a splinter.
Splinter
The woman held a splinter of evil, before the tower fell.
Her name was Locust, sister to Kalor.
Her obsession of power corrupted her poor soul.
Out of desperation for survival, she started what others would say, a crusade. Not of war or death or chaos. But of Truth.
A Truth No Man can deny.
Gods amongst Men
Locust heard the voices from the splinter, giving her knowledge not given from the Blue Light.
She was led into the deep where the Serpents awaited.
She gathered Folkras, Void and Dialego, her trusted Allies, and traveled to the Serpents.
They met the Seven Sins, that appeared as Serpents that had scales made of Dragonskin and Glass.
+_Whom enters our cursed domain_+ Pride asked.
"I am Locust, and I seek power the splinter offers. Me and my siblings require power," Locust replied.
-+-We will give such power, but you must broker a deal-+- Lust implored.
+_+What Godhood you swear to, you must never cease to accomplish, or the Law you worship will devour you.+_+ Greed said.
Deal
"I am Void, and I swear to Fate itself. If I am to stop my attempts to controlling fate, I will be devoured by the Maws of Fate,"
"I am Folkras, and I swear to become War incarnate. If I falter to War, I allow thyself to be killed by War,"
"I am Locust, and I swear to Death and Reaper of War. If I stop killing or stop aiding War Itself, I allow my brother Folkras to slay me at that moment,"
Dialego faltered for a moment, and said, "I am Dialego, and I swear to Secrecy and Endings. If I stop my endless search for Endings or I stop my search for the End at any cost, I will be consumed by thine own Law and power,"
In this, the Four siblings of Darkness were born, and they were given the weapons to swear with.
They rise from the Pit, and Devour, or be devoured.
