The gradient colors housed in painting frames line the walls and tables. Apparently almost all of the works here are drawn by Rary...
"Feel free to look at all the drawings and paintings here! And you'll come to appreciate it!" Rary said... She was quite pissed earlier but now that she's calmed down she seems cheery and welcoming... She has a pink puffball earing hanging from her left ear...
"U-uh alright"
I looked at some paintings, to be honest I loved them... there was one painting of a cat sitting on a wooden fence as the sun rose in the horizon... another painting of a waterfall mist making a rainbow as a cat sleeps on a rock by the fore ground... and another an abstract painting of a cat on catnip tripping balls... I kind of sense a pattern here...
But one painting stood out from the rest, and everyone else: Cole, Ted and Emily was looking at it...
I went to them to also have a look.
"What is it?" I asked
"H-How?" Ted said with a shocked face... more than shocked, he looked... terrified...
I quickly turned to take a good look at the painting...
What...!
"T-This is..."
The painting showed a smoldering crash site, soot and ash both cover the air and forest floor... There's no two ways in a Sunday, this painting is of Beta's crash site back in Lush forest.
"It's quite sad really" Rary said, "They had me paint the scene where this poor girl was suspected to have crashed..."
"S-say ma'am" Ted said, "What happened to the girl that crashed here?"
Rary still with a smile replied with somber tone... "She's still missing, actually, poor thing... her parent's commissioned me a painting for her missing poster, and it's over there" Rary said pointing to a corner of the art room...
It was a missing poster of Beta Carotene... "Well shi-" Cole said before I could hear what she said Emily had asked.
"Why the pale faces?"
P-pale face? I mean yeah... what we had done back in lush is haunting us...
"Hm?" Rary said with a puzzled face, "You kids seen her?" She asked...
"W-well"
"PFFFFFT!" Cole scoffed, "Naaah Bro! we never seen this girl before!" Cole said with such oblivious confidence that she'd never be caught...
"oh" Rary said disappointed... "I thought you did...!"
W-wait, she fell for it? How can someone be this gullible? You can clearly tell Cole's lying...!
"Well in anycase, I am going to need to print these posters out, feel free to keep looking around the art room I'll just be outside" Rary said carrying a whole load of paper as she took her leave...
The moment Rary stepped out of the room I could feel the piercing stares of Emily, I glance at her, her blue eyes, once sparkling alongside her calm aura, faded to this empty expression coupled with a dead stare,
"What did you do..." She asked, "What did you do to the girl...?"
I wasn't able to give her an answer... because even though as piercing Emily's cold stare was, someone else had an even deadlier stare...
"Not so much as, what 'HE' did, as, what will 'HE' do..."
The man from back at City hall, him with his brown coat and hair.
This time he was here not standing on top of city hall, but against us...
