As we stepped into the forest, Mrs. Primrose's warning of vast array of responses of the Joy Village's town folk when they meet us, why is that?
"Wow, this place looks so cool!" Cole said admiring the forest... "Yeah it does, back in the city, there aren't much trees clumped up together" I said.
"Let's all go admire the scenery after we find Sammy!"
"Say Junior you were very quiet back there with Mrs. Primrose, shy again?" Cole said... "You should open up to other people junior, it's a very sad to think were the only ones you can talk to." Ted added, "Yeah 'course" I murmured.
We've been walking for a few minutes, before we were met with an obstacle... An old stone wall was built right on the path...
"What! Who would build a wall in the middle of the path?!" Cole said outraged...
The wall was high enough that it made it impossible for us to jump over, or climb over.
Suddenly a robotic looking person revealed herself from ahead the wall... "Wow! An actual Hope!!!" The robotic looking person said.
"Who Are YOU!" Cole yelled "My name is Beta Carotene!" Beta said...
Beta looked like a robot, although her stature, and physique looked very human... plates of metal cover her body. Wearing a shirt and a bow, and boots that exerted a flame which made her fly and hover over the ground.
Beta looked down over us, with judging eyes, she spoke in great amusement of our sight.
"You know papa said your kind will never return. But even still I come here every day in anticipation of your kind's return!" Beta proclaimed... "What? we don't get it..." Ted said.
"Never mind that!" Beta said shaking her head.
"I haven't had anyone to play with in a long time!" Beta said excitingly.
"So you three will heed my commands!" Beta said... "Pass this obstacle in an hour and you shall pass! If not I will have to administer a very hearty zap!!!" Beta said taking out a tesla sort device from her pocket.
"Um how do we get through this thing" Cole said
"Wait look in the sky!" Ted pointed at the sky.
I squinted when I looked... there was something in the sky... "What is that?" Beta said...
"Is it a bird?" Ted said.
"Is it a plane?" Beta added
"Are you two blind!!!" Cole yelled at Ted and Beta ...
"Wait it's the maple tree seeds from earlier!" I shouted as the maple tree seeds flew near.
"Are you here to help us?" I asked...
Before long, the maple tree seeds carried me, Cole and Ted over the old stone wall... "Wow! Thanks a lot seeds!" Cole thanked, "Yeah, thanks a ton!" Ted thanked
"Hmm...I wasn't expecting help... but you did manage to pass this, but do not think this is OVER!" Beta proclaimed as she zoomed off
"What a strange girl" I commented... "Anyway we can talk about her later we need to make a move on!" Ted encouragingly said
"Wait Ted look at this" I said pointing at my feet... There, lay a dull knife, a slingshot, and a baseball bat
"What are these?" Cole said... "Let's take them!" I said... "What? why?" Ted asked... "We may encounter some things, and we may need these to defend ourselves, after all Mrs. Primrose said that some people may be hostile!" I argued
