Sodi's POV

I just kept Rio close before bandaging him up and bringing him back to the campsite. i lay him down, i sit down next to him. before asking "Why'd you do it?.. Why'd you cut off your horns.?" i sound like im about to cry again.

Rio just looked at me before saying "I.." He stayed quiet as i looked at him, my face filled with concern. "I did it, so humans would look at me and not fear me.. Sodi..-" He said before going quiet again.

I just hug Rio tightly, not wanting to let him go before he pushes me off, he seemed scared of something.. what could he be scared of? Is it me? Is it how im acting? What is it..?

No POV

Sodi looked at to see what Rio was looking at, we see a human.. she seemed to have green hair, darker skin.. wait..

The girl walked closer, she seemed to have a huge burn, forming from the bottom of her leg to her left side of her face. it couldn't be who they thought it was.. they made sure to burn her while she was tormenting everyone else! They left her in the prison to rot! As the girl walked closer, it was Valerie. A person that they thought they made sure to kill after what she had done to everyone else. She tormented.. everyone.. using a griever against them.. how could she? how could she do such a thing to them? After all they did nothing at all.

"Well, Well, Well look what we have here?~" She said with a sadistic tone to her voice, Sodi gritting it's teeth, Rio holding it back so it wouldn't kill her. "what do you want Valerie?" Rio said with an annoyed tone. Both of them didnt like Valerie, but had to bare with her for now. After all, she is a clearing member, even if they had tried to kill her before as she killed most of the people in the clearing by a griever anyways.. but thats not the point!-

Valerie just looked at them with a smirk on her face "Oh i was just wondering how you guys have been!" She said with an annoyed like tone, she wanted something thats for sure. Wait.. she was a demon.. where are her horns.. she wasnt a half demon like Apo or Rasbi, but wasnt a Full demon like Guts.. She wasnt a dragonborn like Krow.. what was she?.. we all knew she was a blood demon but.. she wouldn't cut off her horns like that.. would she?- Rio finally spoke up about the, missing horns "Valerie.. why are your horns missing.?" He asked, now curious of what had happened to Valerie. Valerie had looked a little shocked that he had asked, seeming offended as she backed up, it was a sensitive topic to her, but.. what had happened?

Sodi finally had the guts to say "wait- your alive!? I thought you died in the prison we made you!!" It's voice seeming angry but surprised. "Well i lived, Surprise." She had said with a bit of sarcastic in her voice obviously just annoyed with Sodi.
