(TW: Some Gore, and maybe a few cuss words)
Valerie POV
I was walking around the maze like usual, as clearly my clearing doesn't like me. They never really did in the first place, claimed I was stubborn, and annoying. I mean I was stubborn but, I don't believe I was annoying, right?
I kept roaming the maze before settling down in a large open area, there really wasn't anything there. It's just a large area that has an area which seems like a wall. I mean it was definitely confusing but let's be honest, no one is going to be here, since there only is 1 clearing that I know of and that clearing doesn't even like me! Out of everyone they're the annoying ones.
It had started to darken in the area as I continued walking the area, the stone beginning to.. turn darker.. what was going on? Like, there was four entrances to my clearing and only one of them had opened out of all of them and like the other two had a black liquid coming out of it!
I was tired of walking, but curious of the sudden change in tile, why did it turn darker? Is something in there? What was going on there? But I'm going to answer all those questions just as soon as I go- further into it.. is this a bad idea? Sure, Sure it is but oh well! Just like the saying curiosity killed the cat!-
As i kept walking into the abyss of the maze, it honestly did start to creep me out. knowing that im going a darker part if the maze. Who knows what could be in here- Undead people most likely, it gives off that vibe. Not even four minutes i say- I heard a roar, it did not seem friendly at all. But oh well just keep walking just keep walking-
No POV
Valerie had kept walking into the darker maze, it only got darker as she kept walking. She wasnt scared of the dark but like, scared of the dark at the same time. It got pitch black in a area she was in, stupid of her that she forgot a torch. Behind her she heard a low growl, it was close for one. And two she probably needed to run-
She had started running before finding a torch, someone had been here before but who? Who could've been here before? That doesnt matter- It just matters that she lives for now, she had picked up the torch and kept running, she ran, and she ran till she stopped.
what was going on, why did she stop? something was stopping her, but what was it. As she looked into the distance, she had saw a glimpse of seemed to look like of either a sword flashing against light or light in general. She started heading for it, she wanted to escape this absolute hell hole of a maze.
She ran towards it, something grabbing her by her horns, it felt like hands but something else.. she couldn't tell what it was but she tried to get out of its grip.
Valerie had shouted "Hey!!- Let go of me you freak!!-" Valerie had demanded, she desperately had tried to get away before hearing a crack.
As soon as Valerie heard that, her head had started bleeding, there being a pounding pain.
The grip on her horns had only gotten tighter, a cracking sound being more audible.
Blood had dripped down her head, it staining her hair as well. Valerie had screamed in pain, wanting it to stop.
The cracking had came to a stop, and Valerie fell to the ground. Her hand reaching to the top of her head where her horns once were.
They were gone, her hands now stained in the blood from the horns. What was she going to do? What could she do? There wasn't anything she had on her to currently help.
She had stood up, her legs and hands shaky from the experience. She had continued to walk towards the bright light she had originally saw, ending up into another clearing..? There was a large number on one of the walls, it had the number 1 on it, was this the first clearing? Is this, really what she traveled for?
She continued to walk, seeing some people in the distance but quickly hiding, not allowing them to see her. She had to come up with a plan, but how?
