~Narrator POV~
The girls spent the next few days getting St. Freya ready again. Although Theresa said they should take a break, the girls didn't want to just sit around. Miyuki used this time to clear her head. She was grateful for Kasane's words, but her anger and frustration remained, as the others noticed. No one really knew how to help her. Miyuki knew, of course, that her friends were worried and wished she could just turn off those emotions.... Kiana and the others, on the other hand, additionally wondered what the surprise was that Kasane had mentioned. No one could think of anything suitable.
,,Miyuki-chan give yourself a break," Mei said anxiously, as the white-haired girl had been running around the campus all day, helping at every corner. ,,But....'' ,,Mei-senpai is right, you don't have to stress so much, we still have plenty of time before the party." ,,Fine... Then I'll go play some homu kart in my room.'' she sighed with a small smile. The others took this as a good sign, because she had hardly smiled the last days. ,,I really hope that Miyuki Nee-san will feel better soon.'' ,,I'm sure she will," said Kiana. Mei, on the other hand, remained silent. She had to think about what Miyuki had said after they left World Serpent. She had a crush, but on whom?
Meanwhile, Miyuki dropped onto her bed in her room. Listlessly, she picked up the controller and started Homu Kart. Again and again her eyes wandered to the object lying on her desk. She had found it on the moon and taken it with her. Sighing, she returned her attention to the TV and concentrated on the game. ,,Maybe I should have asked Bronya to join..." the white-haired girl mumbled, because she was winning too easily. The whole thing went on for a while before Miyuki realized that already one and a half hour had passed and it was getting late. Maybe sleeping wasn't so bad...
That night, she had a strange dream that felt really real. The sound of a moving train woke her up. She opened her eyes and found herself in a strange train car. ,,Ahh I see you are awake!'' said a girl with pink hair excitedly. ,,March, don't push her, she just woke up," said a cool male voice. ,,Huh?" Miyuki gasped in confusion when she saw the two strangers in front of her. ,,I wasn't pushing her, Dan Heng. I was just checking to see if she was okay.'' ,,Oh my, I see our little fairy is awake," said a familiar voice. Her entire body froze. This couldn't be possible.... Hesitantly she turned her head to the side from where the voice came and indeed the familiar redhead Miyuki hadn't seen for so long was standing there. Instead of the tied-up hair, her long hair was loose and she wore a white dress with golden details.
Tears slowly rolled down her face. ,,Oh, did you have a nightmare?" Himeko asked worriedly as she patted her head. She would have liked to answer no, but her throat felt as if it was tied up and no words left her mouth. All she could do was shake her head. With a smile, Himeko nodded and turned to the other two. Still confused, she watched the 3 of them before all noise died away and a voice spoke.
No matter where, no matter when, your dreams and fate are connected to theirs.
The next morning, Miyuki opened her eyes with a jolt and exhaled in relief when she realized she found herself in her room. Sighing, the white-haired girl fell back into her pillow. ,,It was just a dream... It felt real, but... it was just a dream.'' I glanced at a picture of her, Kiana and Himeko. That day, the two girls had gotten into a fight and Himeko had almost forced them to get along. In the picture, Kiana and Miyuki were pouting while Himeko smiled at the camera. ,,Himeko-sensei....'' she put her arm over her eyes. Sometimes these sad emotions were so strong that they almost crushed her.
,,Don't cry, because Girls look prettier when they smile.''
When she remembered these words, Miyuki immediately sat up with renewed motivation. Elysia was right, sitting around and crying wasn't right. Now she had saved the world and she was sitting around sulking. She made up her bed, picked some loose clothes from her wardrobe and disappeared into the bathroom only to find herself in the kitchen a short time later, helping Kiana with breakfast... Wait a minute... ,,Kiana, what are you doing here in the kitchen?'' ,,I'm making breakfast for Mei-Senpai and the others.'' ,,But it's not instant noodles, is it? I've been traumatized by it since our time in Arc City.'' Kiana laughed. ,,Don't worry, I've started learning to cook since you and Mei-Senpai left,'' Kiana explained proudly. The other looked at her friend in disbelief. ,,Really, look!'' Miyuki looked cautiously over Kiana's shoulder and actually.... what she had prepared looked good. ,,Well... then at least let me help you.'' Kiana nodded with a smile. But not because she trusted in her new cooking skills but because she looked happier.
