speaker: Welcome back to school everyone! Please welcome the new comers: Freshman. It's their first time in high school, I hope you all enjoy being a freelander!
---
The speaker cuts off with a loud squeal. So this is Freeland high? Hm. I thought it would be bigger.
Well it's my first day here so I guess we should make the most of it. Make new friends, meet new people. "Ow." I jump as I realized I just bumped into someone. "Sorry! Are you okay?" I said. "Yeah," The mystery person laughs, "I'm Lucas." Lucas that's nice. "Lucas, Nice to meet you! I'm Ashlyn." As we introduced ourselves we walked to our first block class. Seems like we have a lot in common. "Well, this is me! It was nice meeting you, Ashlyn! Can I get your number or something?" Smooth. "Hm. Let me think about it. I'll see you around Lucas." I waved as I walked to Science. I know what your thinking, I'm sure we'll get in contact soon, but for now I need to focus on surviving highschool.
As I walk into science I noticed a note on the wall, FREELAND BEWARE, "What's that about?" I asked a junior standing next to me reading it as I did. "Apparently this school has a scary background." She said. "Scary background?" I said confused. "Yeah, I mean this whole town has a mysterious background. Werid murders people can't solve, disappearances. Legend has it, the town has seen to have a lot of unsolved murders, and disappearances, and almost all of them happened at this school. Freeland high. Anyway I'm Avery.""Nice to meet you Avery, i'm-" I was cut off at the sound of Jocks running through the hallway. "FRESH...MEAT... FRESH...MEAT." Here we go, apparently thats what jocks say to Freshman. I never understood it, but I guess it's tradition. "Sorry about that, Jocks do that every year." Avery said. "It's okay, I'm somewhat used to it already. I'm Ashlyn." I said. "Nice to meet you Ashlyn. I'll see you around, don't wanna be late to class. It's nice to make friends with a freshman!" Friends? Wow that was quick. I thought it would take longer. "See you around!"
Later after that I looked up more about Freeland high, and the unsolved murders. A lot of people died. And I mean A LOT. Maybe I should ask Avery about it tomorrow, she seems to know a lot about the schools past, and the murders. I spent the most of my night looking up facts about the town and the school.
It's the next day of school. As I walk up to the building I see police cars and caution tape. "What happened!?" I said in a worried tone. "You didn't hear? Someone was pushed off the building." Said Avery. Someone pushed off the building? Who would've done that? "Who was pushed?" I asked. "We don't know yet" said Avery.
News Reportor: There has been yet another murder at Freeland High. One of the Freshman were pushed off the school building. The police still have yet to find out who was pushed, and who could've possibly killed this poor child.
I stood there, frozen, it was hard to believe. My first year in highschool.
