School has been moved to virtual until further notice. It's now an official crime scene.
I stayed up all night talking to everyone Mishelle knew, no one knew where her brother was. Her mom didn't even know. "Please miss adams, are you sure you haven't heard from liam?" I asked, I've been talking to people all day. Mishelle knew a lot of people at Freeland High there's no possible way nobody knew who she was. "I'm sorry Ashlyn, I don't. It was nice hearing from you." We hung up the phone, she seemed very sad. Understandable considering she just lost her only daughter.
Where's her dad in all of this. I haven't seen him in 9 years, last I heard Mrs Adams and Mr Adams split. That was the last I talked to Mishelle.

I continued to research, I even called the police department for updates. Nothing. I was just about to call Avery over until I got a message from an unknown number.Unknown: Stop looking.
Me: Who is this?
Unknown: That's for me to find out and you to ...
Me: What?
Unknown: Just stop looking or else.

"And that's the last I heard from them." I called Avery over later that night. "What! Did you tell the police about this?" She asked. "No, I don't think I should. This could be someone we know." I said. "Or it could be the killer! Did you think about that?" She said. "Of course I did. You saw the news! The cops are labeling this as a suicide!" I said, The cops never do anything about these situations. Honestly that could be the reason this town has so many unsolved murders.
"Look Avery, I'll tell cops if I get another text. They could track the IP address or something." I told her, "It could be a waste of time if I don't get anymore texts." She agreed. "Okay, so what are we supposed to do now?" She asked. "We wait."

We waited all afternoon. Nothing. "I guess they had nothing else to say. We should head out for food or something maybe we could talk more about it."
We took my car to the Ships Cafe downtown. "Hey! Is that Lucas?" Avery asked, I hadn't seen Lucas or talked to him since the first day of school. "Yeah I guess so." I pulled over and rolled down my window. "Hey, wanna go to Ships Cafe with us?" I figured I should invite him. It seemed rude not to. "Sure, I've got nothing else to do anyway." I unlocked the door and let him in the backseat, "so what have you guys been up to?" Lucas asked. "Nothing really. I've been trying to figure this whole murder out." We filled Lucas in on everything that we've been doing today, and surprisingly he hopped on board. We arrived at the Cafe to get some dinner, and continued the discussion. "So basically we're trying to figure out who the mystery texter is?" Lucas asked. "Yep, they haven't said anything since." It's a little werid. They just texted me and haven't said anything else about the murder, or my search to figure out what's happend with Mishelle.
"Well I guess we should head out. It's getting late." We all walked out and walked to my car.

As I was driving home my car broke down. "Crap."I guess I forgot to get new tires. "Flat tire?" Avery asked. "Yeah, I have a spare in the trunk." I asked Lucas to grab it, "I know how to change a tire, I'll change it." As Lucas was changing the tire we were all talking. "Uh Ashlyn. Are you sure you forgot to get a new tire?" He asked. " Yeah, why?" I asked.
"Well, it looks like the tire was slashed." He said. "Wait really!?" I asked. "Yeah, come see."
"Wait, did you put this note in my bag Ashlyn?" Asked Avery. "No, what does it say""Consider this your first warning!"
