Evolution

Alix stood there. Ready. Monarch had just easily fallen into their trap. As she heard Ladybug shout and say "Canigirl. Now!" she stepped forward. She watched as the look of realisation suddenly dawned upon his face. He had been tricked, back stabbed, and quite possibly bamboozled. "Fetch!" Canigirl called out, which led to her ball immediately zooming straight at the Rabbit Miraculous. The two items disappeared for a second, before both appearing in her hands. "Barkk, Fluff, unify!" she yelled, before instantly transforming into Bunnydog, or Doggywabbit, or Bunnywoofwoof. It didn't really matter to Alix, as she knew this unification wasn't permanent. As she anticipated, Monarch was ready to retrieve the jewel back. "Fetch!" he exclaimed helplessly, as though frightened at the thought of failure. Woofycarrots was ready though. "Burrow!" A portal opened in front of her, her escape route. As she leapt off her feet, she could see the ball from Monarch's miraculous zooming towards her. Suddenly, everything seemed to slow down. The portal right in front of her suddenly seemed so far, as if it couldn't be any further. As she got closer and closer, so did the ball. Finally, she just about managed to get into the portal, and everything disappeared in a quick flash. It was replaced by a large round place with many different holes in the ceiling, walls and floor. She knew this place, the burrow.

Ladybug and Rabbit Noir entered soon after. Ladybug smiled at her. "Miraculous Ladybug!" She threw the lucky charm into the air, and the burrow was bathed in a huge pink light, fixing everything. Including older Alix, who had been paralysed before. Rabbit Noir went up to her and took off the watch, handing it to her.
"loocyawsiemitforewopehtsknaht!" he spat out, sounding quite retarded. Woofycarrots and Ladybug both looked at him in surprise. Was this some ancient kitty language or just Chat Noir taking the piss? However he looked just as confused as they were. "Did I just speak backwards?" he asked curiously to older Alix. "Yep, that's what happens when you mess with the time continuum." she told him, amused. She then put on the watch and out came Fluff: the kwami of evolution. "Glad to see you again, Big Ears! Fluff, clockwise!" she said before transforming into Bunnix. Meanwhile, Woofycarrots took the Dog miraculous off from her neck and the Rabbit miraculous from her side, detransforming and becoming regular Alix. She looked up at her older self, smiling. "Mini me! I knew you'd rock it!" she yelled happily, filling her younger self with pride! Alix then turned to look at Ladybug, a sad look growing upon her face. She held out her hand, giving the watch back to her. Ladybug pushed it back towards Alix's chest, giving a warm smile of hope. "The time has come." she confirmed to her. Alix suddenly chuckled with happiness and joy, before putting the watch back on her side. She looked at her kwami the moment it came out. "Ready for a long journey, Big Ears?" she asked her new friend. "Um I'm having a serious case of deja vu right?" the kwami muttered, confused. Alix smirked for a second, before transforming: "Fluff, clockwise!" after fully transformed into mini Bunnix, she turned to face her older self. "See? Now I'm as cool as you are!" she said to her, almost mockingly. Baby Bunnix looked at Ladybug, who confirmed this with her serious look. "Before you go" she told them both, "I have one more favour to ask you girls." Ladybug gestured towards the collar Alix was holding in her hand. Mini Bunnix nodded to show she understood. Chat Noir then leaned over and whispered something extra in her ear. While listening to this, Baby Bunnix could have sworn she saw Ladybug's eyes roll, as if she knew what her partner was telling her. But she didn't blame her. It was quite an unnecessary thing that wouldn't make much of a difference. She then waved her final goodbyes to the heroic duo and leapt into her burrow, knowing this was the start of a new adventure...
