~NARRATOR'S POV~

Daisie sat alone at the lunch table, her heart heavy with hurt and confusion. For weeks, her best friend, Sophie, had been distant and cold towards her. Daisie couldn't understand why their relationship had suddenly changed. They used to do everything together, but now it was as if they were strangers.

Daisie had tried to reach out to Sophie, but each attempt was met with avoidance and excuses. It was like Sophie was actively avoiding her, and it stung more than Daisie wanted to admit.

To make matters worse, Daisiee had been the target of a group of girls who had been teasing her. She had tried to brush it off at first, but their cruel words and actions continued to escalate. It was like a stormy cloud was following her around, raining down negativity everywhere she turned.

As the days went by, Daisie felt like she was cracking under the pressure. The weight of her friendship troubles and bullying consumed her thoughts, leaving her feeling alone and helpless.

One day, during a group project, Daisie was paired with a classmate, Noah. They had never spoken much before, but he could sense something was bothering her. After a few moments of silence, Daisie opened up to Noah. She shared everything that had been weighing on her, from her struggles with Sophie to the cruel words of the other girls.

Noah listened patiently, offering words of support and empathy. He didn't judge her or dismiss her feelings like some others had. Instead, he offered a perspective Daisie had not considered before – perhaps Sophie was going through something personal that had nothing to do with Daisie.

As the conversation continued, Daisie realised that perhaps her friendship with Sophie was not as strong as she once thought. The distance and coldness had been hurtful, but maybe it was time to let go and move forward.

As Daisie left school that day, she felt a sense of clarity and renewal. Her conversation with Noah had shown her that there were people who genuinely cared about her, even if they were not her longtime friends. She decided to focus on building a support system of positive, uplifting people, and to let go of those who brought negativity and hurt into her life.

It would not be an easy path, but Daisie knew she was strong enough to overcome the challenges and emerge even stronger on the other side. She took a deep breath and tightened her grip on her backpack strap, ready to walk forward into the unknown.
