~NARRATOR'S POV~
But just as things were starting to improve, Daisie found herself caught up in a new drama. It started when one of the teachers, Mrs. Lewis, accused her of cheating on a quiz. Daisie was dumbfounded – she had never cheated in her life.
Despite her protests, Mrs. Lewis insisted that she had seen Daisie whispering something to the person next to her during the quiz. Daisie tried to explain that the other girl had simply asked her for a pencil, but Mrs. Lewis was not convinced.
The accusation spread like wildfire through the school, and soon Daisie found herself the subject of whispers and rumours. She felt like she was back to square one, an outcast again.
The situation only escalated when Mrs. Lewis gave her a failing grade on the quiz. Daisie knew she had to do something, but she didn't know where to turn.
That's when Leeza stepped up. She had witnessed what had happened during the quiz and knew Daisie was telling the truth. Together, they went to the principal's office and explained what had happened.
To their relief, the principal listened and promised to investigate. A few days later, he called Daisie into his office and told her that Mrs. Lewis had been reprimanded for her accusations, and that Daisie's grade had been changed to reflect her true performance on the quiz.
Daisie was grateful for Leeza's help, but the whole ordeal had taken a toll on her. She felt like she was constantly under a microscope, being scrutinised for every move she made.
But Leeza continued to be a supportive friend, always there to lend an ear or offer a shoulder to cry on. Through all of the drama and turmoil, she had found a true friend in Leeza.
As the school year came to a close, Daisie realised that the difficulties she had faced had taught her some valuable lessons. She had learned the importance of standing up for herself and speaking up when things weren't right. But, more importantly, she had discovered the true meaning of friendship, thanks to her new friend Leeza.
how is this chapter? not a lot of drama, but i hate mrs lewis already. do you think leeza is a true friend or just another backstabber?
