SOMEHOW, Lennon found herself attacking Mindy Meeks-Martin with a pillow in her own room.
The duo had stolen a few bottles from the kitchen which, Martha Meeks wasn't aware of, and suddenly found everything 10x funnier.
What drastic action could've made Lennon assault Mindy, you may ask? Well it was simple, she brought up Chad.
Lennon and Chad's friendship went way back. They met through Mindy, they practically had to with Lennon being her best friend.
The first time Lennon came to the Meeks household, she wasn't aware that Mindy had a twin. That was until she ran straight into him, bashing noses resulting into two bloody noses.
They were 6, the same height and sassy kids. It was practically asking for a frenemy relationship. Ever since, they claimed to have a dislike towards each other, which obviously wasn't true. In fact, Lennon held a huge crush on her best friend's brother, which she would never admit but somehow.. Mindy knew.
Taking a deep breath through a laugh, Lennon finally stepped away from the girl on the floor, who was still in hysterics. " Say that again and watch what happens, Dee." Lennon jokingly threatened.
Rolling onto her back, the laughing girl stared up at the blonde. " You, Lennon Hicks, are in love with my brother."
Without hesitation, She dived straight back onto Mindy, trapping her between her legs. " Fuck. You. Meeks!" She called out between hitting her with the pillow. Once again, causing Mindy to roll into another fit of laughter.
A door being pulled open caused both girls to silent their chuckles. Lennon whipped her head around to see just the devil they were talking about.
Chad Meeks-Martin stood in the doorway, leaning against the frame smirking at the two girls on the floor. " What have i walked in on then?"
Rolling off of Mindy, she stood up swiftly, dusting herself off before helping the brunette up.
Mindy looked towards Lennon, trying to contain her intoxicated laughter.
" Well- Chad, that is- uh none of your business." She said before walking over to him to push him out.
Looking over her head, he spotted the bottle laying on the mattress. "Wait- you know i would like some more respect, you drunk!"
"Too late, bye!" Lenny shooed him out before standing against the door, making eye contact with Mindy. It was silent before they both started giggling like they were back in elementary school.
Noticing the face Mindy pulled, Lennon knew what was coming. "You like Ch-" she began to sing. That was until she was cut off by a pillow heading straight into her face.

The next morning, Lenny found herself strolling down the stairs with a killer headache. She was up before Mindy, resulting to go downstairs on her own.
She didn't expect anyone to be up at this time in the morning, so she wasn't expecting the jump scare from Chad stood in the middle of the kitchen with a glass of water in his grip.
"Oh- shit!" Lennon cursed, rolling her eyes at the boy who held a smug grin on his face.
Walking past him, she reached up to the cupboard with all the painkillers.
He spoke up, curiously. "What are you looking for, Lenny?"
Looking around her shoulder, she glared back at him. " Why do you want to know? Why are you even up? It's..5:26."
" Hydration is key, Lennon Hicks." He stated, raising his class towards her before having a sip. Changing the conversation while she continued to search, he looked towards her.
" What are you doing today?" Chad questioned in general curiosity.
Once she found the painkillers, she pointed towards his glass, silently asking for a sip which he nodded for.
" If you must know, i was planning to go to Tara's house tonight, but Wes is making lasagna. Can't say no to that." She explained. It was true, Wes's cooking was phenomenal.
Nodding, he pursed his lips. The two sat in silence for a minute, having nothing to say.
Getting up at the same time, they walked awkwardly the same direction to the stairs.
"Um- Just going this way.." Lenny noted, trying to refrain from bumping into him.
" Yep.. ladies first." He smirked, defusing the situation with Lennon letting out a small chuckle.
She went to open Mindy's door before turning back towards Chad. "Chad." she whispered softly, earning a hum in response.
She went to speak before deciding against it. " It doesn't matter. I- have a good day." Before closing the door on him.
The boy on the other side of the door let out a small chuckle before whispering to himself " You too, Lenny."
