Minji's pov [Parallel Universe]

It's been two weeks since the day I kissed Hanni in front of her friends; it was satisfying, especially that Haerin was there. Haerin knows something about me that nobody knows except if she tells it to her friends. Well, I guess she didn't tell it to them, but I know they know who I really am.

[Two weeks ago]

Hanni harshly pushed me after I kissed and told her that I liked her in front of her friends.

"Why did you kiss me?!" Hanni was acting mad at me, thinking this was going to work on me.

I looked at her in confounded.

"Leave now, Minji," she said as she turned her back on me. I pulled her into a hug, but she forcefully pushed me away from her.

Her friends entered the room, and I didn't recognize that Haerin was running towards me. She punched my face as she immediately grabbed the collar of my shirt. I looked at her wide-eyed.

"Haerin, stop!" Hanni was horrified, trying to stop Haerin, but this cat is way too strong.

"Stop playing around, Minji; there's so many girls out there." She pushes me to the door of Hanni's room. I wiped the blood from my lips.

"Leave." I looked at Hanni. She looked at me guitily after that, and I left.

I heard footsteps following me behind me when I walked outside the room, but I heard Haerin say:

"Hanni! Don't." I didn't turn my head to look at them. I just leave the mansion immediately.

I'm too embarrassed when I kissed her without her consent, honestly. Why did I kiss her? Did I take an advantage over her? But why didn't she stop me in the first place? She even responded to my kiss. I have liked Hanni since before. I knew what Haerin was thinking about me. She thinks that I'll play with Hanni when I already stopped being an asshole playgirl a year ago.

I just facepalmed after remembering what happened two weeks ago.

I was here at the cafeteria of our school, eating my lunch. I didn't notice my friends were already in front of me.

"Minji? Are you okay, dude? You're spacing out; you haven't touched your food yet." Jake tapped my shoulder as they sat in front of me.

I forgot. I'm here to eat since I didn't eat break fast; uggghh, this is Hanni's fault.

"Minji, if you have a problem, you can tell us about it. It's been 2 weeks and you're still not on yourself." Danielle shook her head out of annoyance. I sighed. I don't want to tell them what happened because I promised not to do anything bad anymore, especially to Hanni and her circle.

"Yeah, Minji, you haven't messaged us since the party. What happened to you?" Wonyoung said, then stopped to take a look at me.

I looked at them one by one, wondering if I should tell them or not. I was bad at playing with girls before, and now I'm getting what I deserve: karma.

"Hay, Minji, if you're thinking that we're going to judge you, well, not because we are your friends who are willing to listen to all your rants," Kazuha reassured me.

I was going to speak, but I suddenly saw Hanni laughing while entering the cafeteria with Jay and her friends. My heart stings as I look away, hoping my friends won't notice my facial expression and mood changes.

"Why I'm hurting?" I asked in my own thoughts.

They are sitting at the other table, two tables away from where our table was. Jay was currently ordering their food with Yujin. I looked at Hanni. It's been 2 weeks since we had a conversation, and after that, everything went the way it was. I stood up, and my friends frowned in confusion.
