How interesting.

Life is always filled with surprises.

Well mostly bad ones.

But who would have known this to happen?

Every year in my life, something big would happen that would impact me negatively.

But this time, it's the latter.

With every tale, there's always a journey. So, let me tell you the tale of how I became me.

1st Person POV

*tap* *tap* *tap*

I was typing away on my laptop, finishing up an email to send to one of my sidekicks about the recent decrease in villain activity, to take some time off and I'll find someone to fill in their patrols. I finish the email and look through the reports my sidekicks sent in today. Nothing out of the ordinary, just the usual fighting and capturing low-life villains and being taken into custody.

I exited my work tab, and an email popped up on my screen. I clicked on the notification and saw it was an email sent by U.A.

U.A. It's been years. I thought as I read the email.

Greetings Ms. Dreemurr,

It has been a long while since we last spoke. I wish to catch up with you perhaps at a later date. Besides that, I'm here to inform you that I would like to offer you a job here at U.A. You would be U.A.'s 1st-year's teacher's assistant, but you would mostly be spending your time with the Hero course to help them improve their quirks along with All Might. Speaking of All Might, he highly requested for you to become a teacher here to help the new generation of heroes. Please email me if you have any questions and give me a call if you accept. I hope to hear from you soon Ms. Dreemurr. Go beyond. Plus Ultra.

Sincerely,

Principal Nezu

Teacher's assistant? All Might? Nezu?

When I said it's been years, it really has been years since I last heard from either one of them.

It's also been years since I last visited Japan. The last time I was in Japan was when I was checking up on my agency in the middle of Tokyo 2 years ago.

It would be nice to go back to Japan to catch up with some old friends and family.

*knock knock*

Speaking of which.

I closed my laptop to see who was at my door. It was my mother. Toriel.

"My child, why are you working? It is your day off. You should be resting" She placed a cup of tea beside my work desk.

"Sorry mother, I was just finishing up some emails." I nodded my head as a gesture to the tea as I grabbed it to take a sip.

"Please no more working dear. You have been working without a single break." She pleaded for me to stop and relax.

I got out of my chair and sat on a sofa near the window of the room and my mother sat next to me. "I know you are trying to work as a way to help your mind, but you are also creating more stress on yourself. How about we take a walk around the garden? It is best to get some fresh air."

I nodded my head in agreement as I took one last sip, finished my tea, and placed it on the small plate on the desk. We both got up and headed outside to the garden.
