It was a nice and sunny day in Korea, almost no clouds to be seen. Though, the Boy Next Door boys were stuck inside the HYBE building practicing for their next performance.
"Riwoo," their leader called out while laying on the practice room's floor. "Let me cover your leg part just once please?" He begged, desperate to try it out at least once.
"Hyung, you'll break something," the youngest commented as he stretched right besides the male.
In return, Jaehyun huffed and faced down on to the floor remaining quiet.
Music was playing as Taesan continued practicing without most of the group. They worked on majority of the choreo, but he just wanted to make sure he had the timing correctly.
Suddenly, the music was changed into birthday by SOMI.
Snapping his head around, Taesan spotted Leehan, Riwoo, and Sungho playing around with the speaker.
"This song has been stuck in my head since lastnight," Leehan spoke before joining the two who were laying on the ground.
Giving up on practicing, Taesan sat with them too. Eventually all members were on the floor, taking a small break.
"Don't forget, we have a meeting at 6," Jaehyun announced, lifting his face up to speak before hiding his face once again.
The youngest took out his phone.
"Hyung, it's 6:03."
"Hello, we are Boy Next Door," the group of boys greeted formally towards the group of producers.
They were greeted back with multiple kind gestures and many "congrats on your debut," which they were thankful to receive.
They all took a seat as a group, settling down in front of familiar faces and unfamiliar faces. Although this meeting has been scheduled for a week, none of them knew what it was about.
All the boys were very nervous, not only did they just debut, but they were also around 10 minutes late to the meeting.
Once all of them were properly seated, an unfamiliar man spoke up first.
"Hello, I am the producer of INK Entertainment, Jinyoung Choi. It is a pleasure to meet you boys."
The name caused all the members to jump back a bit, as they never thought they'd meet a person from that industry, let alone the producer.
A laugh was heard from Jinyoung as he saw their synced reactions. "I'm guessing you've heard of us?" He questions to the group.
"Ah- yes," the leader simply answers.
"You're the producers of Stand By Me? Right?" Riwoo adds onto the leader's response.
Leehan and Taesan lock eyes. They could read eachother's eyes very easily. They were puzzled with shock and excitement.
