Chapter two||Old lovers

Millie's pov:

I woke up to my mother banging on my bedroom door and yelling at me to get ready for my first day as a sophomore. "I'm up!" I yelled back to my mother, She finally left me alone. I got up and made my bed and started to choose out my outfit for the day, It seemed like I had literally no clothes to wear but I finally chose one and put on my makeup then headed downstairs to eat breakfast. "Is that what you're wearing to school?" said my mother I looked up at her and said "yeah...?" she glared at me "That's so revealing to wear, you're gonna get sent home and then I'll have to put up with your ass." she said then my father walked into the kitchen "Leave her alone and let her wear what she wants to school, she's a teenager now." said my father. I've always adored my father ever since he got me Taz, I'm glad he let me take her with us each time we moved. My mother walked off as My dad smiled at me and asked "are you ready for your first day? its gonna be different for you this year!" I smiled back. "yeah I'm ready, Cillie is gonna be here this year" Cillie is my bestfriend, we've been bestfriends ever since middle school. Since I'm a year above her I got into highschool before her so she was alone for a whole year. "Do you want me to drive you to school?" asked my father, I replied "yes please". We drove to school, as he was dropping me off he said "I might not be there when you get home so can you please take care of your mother while I'm not there?" I sighed and answered "Yes dad, I can. But you know how rude she is." My father looked down at his feet "I know sweetheart, I know but she won't ever change that's the way she is." I heard the bell ring and quickly said bye to my father and went to class. The class I was in was English, One of my fav subjects. I heard the classroom door open and looked up and saw him. Cade white, My fucking ex. He looked at the teacher and apologized "Sorry, I overslept." He looked like he rushed to get ready. He looks more hotter then the last time I saw him. The teacher interrupted my thoughts saying "That's fine Mr. White please sit down next to Ms. Evergreen." I could feel my stomach fill up with a mixture of annoyance and dread. He looked around until he spotted me then came over and sat down next to me, digging out a pencil to start his work. As I continued mine, he passed a note to me, I pushed it back to him not even looking at it because I didn't wanna see what he had to say to me. He pushed it back to me, I sighed finally reading the note. "why are you here?" I stared at the note then side eyed him as he was working, wondering if I should slap him if for such a stupid question. I wrote back "Dad wanted me to have a highschool experience" and pushed it back to him, hoping he wouldn't write back as I continued my work. He pushed the note back and I sighed angerly as I just wanted to do my work. I read the note, "So that means I have to see YOU all year?" I looked at him again, considering slapping him across the face, He looked at me and looked back at the note, as if asking if i was gonna reply back, I wrote back  "yes you do, Now leave me alone and let me work" I shoved it back this time, hoping he would just get the hint and leave me alone. He left me alone for the rest of the class period. I headed to my locker to put my books away and was grabbing the ones for next period when cade walked up to me. "Soo, do you maybe wanna be friends this year or do you wanna beat my ass?" He asked, I looked at him and said "I'd rather beat your ass then be friends with you." He acted like he was hurt by what I said, I rolled my eyes at him then he smirked and said "I could have you rolling your eyes for another reason sweetheart" and winked at me. I slammed my locker shut and stormed off to my next class, Praying he wasn't in it. The next class was math. "Seriously math at 10 a.m? what is wrong with people." I thought. I sat down and got out my pencil and was waiting for the bell to ring when Cade walked in with some girl, The teacher pointed over to me and the two of them sat down at my table. Cade once again smirked at me while the girl looked at him curiously. I looked at cade and asked "well are you gonna sit there like a fucking retard are you going to introduce me to your lady friend here?" Cade glared at me while I smiled knowing he hates being called a retard. "That lady friend is my girlfriend, Hazel walker." Hazel smirked, as if she was happy he said her full name. "well nice to meet you Hazel, I'm Millie, That asshole's ex." I said, Hazel stared at me, as if she was judging me based off of what I looked like "are we going to have a problem?" I asked, she smiled and replied "Oh no, sorry, I was just wondering how someone like him", she paused looking at him like he just saved the day, "Could end up with someone like you." I laughed at her comment and then said "Hunny, that man acts tough when he's not. He was a straight up simp for me when we were together." She glared at me as if she was trying to shoot lasers out of her eyes "Well I don't care if he's a simp! I still love him!!" She said, I looked at cade as he was rolling his eyes, He seemed annoyed with her. The bell rang and it was time for class to start.
