Couple things
1) Yes this is Teacher/Student, they're both consenting adults and it's one of my favs so I'll write it if I want to
2) Cringe culture is dead
Cool let's go

It had been a long day.
Tuesday's always were. He had his entry level psych class and he could not stand half the students in it. There were two main kinds, the ones who didn't give a shit and the ones who cared way too much and thought they were better than everyone there. Logan hated both kinds. He'd long since regretted becoming a professor, but it paid the bills, and at this point he didn't have the capacity to care anymore. There were only the couple students, the gentle glimmers of light that made it worthwhile at the end of the day.
He didn't have any of those students on Tuesday.
So, he was stuck at his desk after classes, door unlocked but not open. Well, it was open, figuratively, it was his office hours, but the door was literally shut. At the moment he was grading papers, because as much as he didn't want to, he didn't want to fall behind on grading more than he didn't want to grade the papers right now. So, he graded them now, while he had nothing better to do than wait.
Luckily, tonight, no one came in for help, so he was able to pack up to leave soon enough. Office hours came to an end and Logan slipped on his jacket, bag slung over his shoulder. A Tuesday was hardly the day for a trip to the bar, but he was considering it. He might even meet one of his favored students there, it was a bar on campus after all. A drink and someone to talk to didn't sound bad.
Logan ended up at the bar, of course, because what else was he to do? His small, cramped apartment didn't offer much to him, and he didn't feel like going to the store just to buy a drink that he'd have too much of. So... Bar it was. Not busy tonight, as was standard for a Tuesday, but there were people here and there. It wasn't late yet, either, well, late enough to constitute a trip to a campus bar on Tuesday. When he stepped in the door his eyes slid around for a familiar face, but when he didn't spot one, Logan took a seat at the bar instead. The bartender took a moment to get to him, and Logan ordered something light but dependable.
"Drinking on a Tuesday night? You really have hit rock bottom, huh?"
Logan turned, eyes wide as someone took a seat on the barstool next to him. Same loud voice, same hair that spiked up at the ends. "You're here too, aren't you?"
"I think we both know I've been at rock bottom for a while." Roman grinned and leaned on the bar. "Hey."
"Hello." Logan set the glass of liquor to his lips, hiding a soft smile. Roman always managed to show up when he was needed.
"Careful. You almost look like you're happy to see me." Roman's smile grew as he lightly bumped Logan's shoulder. "Rough day?"
"As any," he muttered against his drink.
"Yeah, yeah, I get it. Life's hard. Hard enough to end up here on a work night."
"Would you drop that?" Logan glanced over at the other. "I'm responsible and I know what I'm doing. It's not like you don't party on a school night."
"I'm actually a week sober."
"Oh." Logan paused, glass hovering near his lips. "That's... I'm glad."
"Yeah." Roman sighed. "Course, doesn't mean I don't get tempted. Once an addict, always an addict, right?"
"Would you like to go somewhere else?"
"Nah. I'm good here." Roman waved a hand in the air. "You can drink enough for the both of us, or whatever, yeah?"
