Shorter chapter, sorry. I've got like two more already written though

Logan woke up when he heard the door open, sighing against what he remembered was the nape of Roman's neck. His fingers brushed against the other's chest, arm still around him. He was exhausted, muscles aching and his head pounding slightly.

But then he realized the door opened, and Roman was in his arms, so someone else was in the room. His back, luckily, was to the door, but unluckily there was not a blanket over them. It had been too hot with one. That meant he had two options: pretend to still be asleep and keep his face down, or reveal he was awake by pulling the blanket over Roman and himself.

Logan ended up going with the latter, because he respected Roman's privacy more than his own. The blanket was indeed very warm, but at least it kept them covered.

"I knew he was a liar," the person in the room said. "Good for him, though."

Logan stayed quiet, unsure who was speaking and if they knew him. His chest rose and fell with quiet, almost nervous breaths that made Roman's hair stir.

"I know you're not asleep, you don't have to act like it." The man was moving around, and Logan figured he must be Roman's roommate. "Thanks for covering up though, I really didn't want to see a professor's ass."

Ah, well. Logan rolled over a bit, propping himself up on his elbows to look at the guy. He was short, with lots of piercings and a permanent scowl on his face. Logan recognized him, because the guy was a student in one of his entry level psych classes. "Right, sorry. I forgot he had a roommate."

"I won't tell anyone," Virgil said, completely off topic. "So you don't have to ask me not to. I literally don't care what you two do, and hopefully this means he shuts up about how bad he wants you." He dug around in the dresser for a moment.

"He talks about me?"

"All the damn time, yeah." Virgil turned to a small pile of clothes on the floor, crouching down to dig through it. "Listen, I'll be straight up, you have your own place, yeah? Do me a favour and try to keep all this there. I live here too."

"Oh, of course. I didn't mean to be here, I'm sorry."

"I suggest hiding out here until like, eleven, that's when the least people are out of their rooms." He seemed to find what he was looking for, pulling a hoodie out of the pile. "I've got class and then I'll go somewhere else so I don't have to witness anymore of this."

"Alright." Logan nodded. "Sorry again. I'll be gone by eleven."

"Cool." Virgil grabbed his bag and went to the door, pausing. "Take care of him."

"Yeah, of course."

"I'll cut your dick off if you hurt him."

"Noted."

Logan watched him go, the door clicking shut. He then turned back to Roman, leaning over to kiss the top of his head. Of course he would take care of him. He couldn't imagine doing anything to harm Roman, and he didn't think he could forgive himself if he ever did.

The blanket was getting a bit too hot again, making him sweat, so he pulled it off the both of them and instead set it behind him, that way if someone walked in it would be easy to quickly cover up. Then he wrapped his arm back around the other, his fingertips brushing over his chest once more. Roman seemed to fit perfectly against him.

Logan didn't fall back asleep. He was too busy feeling his hands over Roman's chest and sides. Gently, of course, because he didn't want to wake him up. He hoped it was soothing. It was certainly soothing for him, and he let his fingers run over Roman's thighs.
