For the first time in a long time, my life is going smoothly.
No drama, good grades, and Beckett.
Even though he drives me nuts most of the time.
He's been by my side almost every day and even though it annoyed me a bit at first, I've grown to enjoy his company.
It's currently lunch and it was originally just the girls and I but now the Kings sit with us.
Beckett sits next to me, his arm draped around my waist keeping me glued to his side.
I laugh as I switch off eating a grape and feeding him a grape.
He always eats my food.
I don't mind though, my dad always packs me a lot anyway.
"AHHHHHHH!" The doors of the lunch room slam open and Lola runs over to us.
"What's wrong?" I ask with concern.
She suddenly slams a packet of paper onto the desk causing us to jump.
"Oh my god! Congratulations Lo!" We all cheer.
Mrs.Francis managed to find the heart to allow Lola to take her midterm...which she aced!
She takes a seat in between Mar and Parker and Parker gives her a nod.
"Are you ready for your interview?" Beckett whispers, snapping me out of my stare.
"I think so."
"Don't be nervous babe, I'm sure you'll get in."
"But there's only one spot left Beck and there's so many talented-" I was cut off when he shoved a grape into my mouth.
"You seriously need to stop doubting yourself, Nini." He chuckles and I roll my eyes before chewing the grape.
He's right though, I tend to do that A LOT.
Beck and I were in the middle of a conversation when someone suddenly sat in between us.
"AUGUST!" The guy yells and August's eyes widen.
"Uh, dude- go sit somewhere else." Beckett scoffs.
The guy just ignores him as he continues his conversation with August.
"What's wrong? And why are you so out of breath?" August asks.
"I fucked up...again." The guy mumbles.
"What did you do?" August asks hesitantly.
"I was talking to Chloe to try and convince her to help me tell Kendall the truth but she fucking kissed me and...Kendall saw."
The girls and I wince while the guys awkwardly chew their food.
"Oh shit dude, was she chasing you? Is that why you're out of breath?" August asks.
