Willow's POV:

I wasn't heartbroken over what Hunter said. I knew we weren't ready. But it did hurt. Nevertheless, the only thing I was worried about was what was happening with Hunter.

I knelt in front of him, and put my hands on his knees. "Breathe, okay? It's okay." He took a couple more gulps of air, and rubbed his eyes, getting rid of his tears.

Luz sat next to Hunter on the couch, and Amity, Gus and Vee sat next to me. "Hunter, can you tell us what you saw and heard? You should've seen or heard something to trigger a panic attack." Luz said.

Hunter took another big inhale. "B-Belos..." He murmured.

Everybody's eyes widened and Vee gasped. "A-are you sure?" Amity asked warily.

Hunter shook his head. "I probably imagined it." To that, everyone breathed a sigh of relief.

Suddenly, Camila walked into the room. "I'm off to the store, who wants to come with me?"

Amity stood up. "I need some more hair dye."

Vee also got up, along with Luz. "I just want candy." Luz said, and Vee nodded.

Gus shrugged. "I'm going back to bed, have fun." He said, then he went back downstairs, which left just Hunter and I in the living room. Well, Clover and FlapJack too, but they didn't really count.

"Listen, Willow, I'm sorry for rejecting you, but I don't really trust my mental state right now." Hunter said, pulling at his hair.

I smiled. "It's okay. Just... When you're ready."

He nodded and stretched out on the couch, lying down. FlapJack hopped onto his head and Hunter sort of smiled. "I'm going to take a nap..." He said to me.

I nodded. "Okay..." I sat against the arm of the couch, and closed my eyes.

When I woke up, the others weren't back from the store, but it was a couple hours later. I looked at a clock and it said 11:45. I sighed and looked up at the couch and panicked when I saw that Hunter wasn't there. I checked the hallway, the kitchen, and then upstairs. I finally checked the basement, looking at Gus, who was curled up on the basement couch. I heard sniffling, so I went down the stairs. Gus was crying, so I sat next to him on the couch.

"What's wrong Gus?" I asked, pulling him up and hugging him.

"I miss Matty and my dad." Gus mumbled.

I patted his head. "We'll see them soon. Though I still don't understand your friendship with Mattholomule."

He smiled. "It's complicated. Do you miss your dads?"

"Of course I do. By the way, have you seen Hunter? I can't find him." I said.

He shook his head and I sighed. "He might be outside." Gus said.

I nodded and stood up, then went outside. I walked around Luz's neighborhood a few times, trying to find Hunter, but not succeeding. Suddenly, I had an idea. I walked back to the house and saw FlapJack on the couch.

"Come here buddy." I said, beckoning him into my hands. "Can you find Hunter for me?"

FlapJack chirped, and surprisingly, went to the bathroom. I had forgotten about checking it. I went to it, and knocked.

"Hunter, are you in there?" I asked.

"Go away Willow." He replied.

I frowned. "Can you at least let FlapJack in?"

"Fine..." Hunter opened the door. His eyes were red, and there were tears running down his face. For some reason, his hair looked a bit weird.

I put my hands on his shoulders. "What's wrong?"

"Nothing." He turned his head away from me and shrugged my hands off.

"Hunter." I turned his face back to look at mine. "Tell me what's wrong." I caught my reflection in the mirror and panicked. My eyes were turning almost entirely green. I was getting too mad.

"I'm just trying to cut my hair." He said. "I can't get it right."

I took some breaths to calm myself down. "Do you want help?"
