((AN: A Famous Story with in a post apocalyptic world.))

(The light of a new day shines down on the scarred world below the clouds.  The light exposed the dead war zone littered with destroyed buildings, human corpses, turned over vehicles, and large machine corpses with long legs.  The landscape itself appears into inhospitable for any man or creature, not even a tick could survive in this dead wasteland... But then a sound echoes throughout the wasteland; a bell chime.  The source of  the sound seems to come from a ruined cathedral.)

[Choir:]
Olim
Olim Deus accelere
Hoc sæculum splendidum
Accelere fiat venire olim...

(Within this cathedral stands a choir of small figures in different colored robes.  Each of these figures stand between 6 to 8 inches tall, different colored fabric skin, optics lenses for eyes, and wooden or metal hands and feet.  Though they seem like machines, these figures are a man made species known as "Homunculi", or as they call themselves, Stitchpunks.)

[Congregation:]
Olim
Olim Deus accelere
(Olim Deus accelere)
Hoc sæculum splendidum
(Hoc sæculum splendidum)
Accelere fiat venire olim

Aaahh Aaaahhh Aahh...
Aaahh Aaaahhh Aahh...
Aaahh Aaaahhh Aahh Aaaaahhhh!

(The view pans out to a makeshift city surrounding the cathedral inhabited by a large Stitchpunk population.  The city is built with the scraps left behind from the war between man & machine; the heads of steel behemoths have become houses or shops, roller skates and wooden jewelry boxes have been turned into wagons or beds, sewing needles and shards from mirrors, dishes, and sharp pieces of metal are used as weapons for the bulkier built Stitchpunks, and various of old household items are used in one thing, or another.)

(The City surrounding the cathedral is known as "New Paris", and a caravan of traders and a group known by their creators as "Roma" or "Romani", or as the bigots of the city call them "Gypsies" travel through the city makes their stop to trade good.)

[A:]
Morning in New Paris
The city awakes
To the bells of Notre Dame

The Scout parties scout
The Tinkers build
To the bells of Notre Dame

To the big bells as loud as the thunder
To the little bells soft as a psalm
And some say the soul of
The city's the toll of
The bells...

The bells of Notre Dame

(In one part of the city, near the staircase to chapel, loving named 'Notre Dame' by the Stitchpunk population, is a trading wagon with four Stitchpunks sitting on a magenta carpet; three children between five to seven years old, and a tan colored adult female wearing clothes of yellow, orange, maroon red, and a dark brown hair that cover her feathered head, and had a hand puppet to entertain the children before her.)
