Chapter 1

You smiled smugly at your test paper. You got a perfect score. You turned to your seatmate, feeling a little proud of yourself for getting a perfect score. And now, you're also ready to rub your perfect score at your rival's face.

"I got a perfect score." You said to him. He was already looking at you like he was waiting for you to look at him. You shrugged those thoughts off and just waited for him to respond.

He lifted his paper to show you his score and you frowned. He also got a perfect score.

"Why are you frowning, princess." Joonghyuk chuckled when he saw your smile fade and be replaced by a frown.

You glared at him. "If you weren't just being so naturally good at everything then I might give you a smile."

"I'm sorry to say this to you but I also got something I'm not good at."

"Oh, damn you. Stop being so humble, it makes me cringe." You pretended to have shivers and Joonghyuk just laughed.

The next class continued. You and Joonghyuk were the only ones who participated in every class recital willingly. Some of your classmates saw you both as saviors since they won't be called.

As you were busy cleaning your desk, Joonghyuk spoke.

"Your mom's at our house. They were making cookies and they took so long so they decided to make dinner for us."

"And?"

You heard Joonghyuk sigh. "Let's go home together."

You look at him for a few seconds before you stood up and put your bag on your shoulder. "Yeah, sure."

He was staring at you when you said that. You glared at him and flicked his forehead. "What are you waiting for, airhead?"

Joonghyuk shook his head and hid a smile. "Yeah, let's go."

As you both walked out of the room, some students were looking and whispering. You shook your head.

"Why are you so goddamn popular?" You whispered at him.

He looked down at you with an innocent face. "I am?"

You smiled. "Oh, fuck you."

You both laughed as you continued to walk outside the school. When you both arrived at Joonghyuk's house, your mom greeted you when she walked passed the door.

"Oh, you're both here!" Your mom said enthusiastically.

You sighed in front of her. "Will you stop going here? We have our house mom."

Your mom ignored you and looked at Joonghyuk who was behind you. "Hi, handsome! How's school? Is my daughter still competing her score with you?"

The man behind you chuckled. "Yes, auntie. I'm already used to her frowning at me everytime our test papers are returned."

You turned around to look at him, betrayal in your eyes. Joonghyuk shrugged with a smile. When you faced your mother again she was wearing that smile again. You rolled your eyes and went to the living room.

"Hi, sweetie!" Joonghyuk's mother called you while she was busy in the kitchen. "How's school? Is my son bothering you?"

You smiled and went to her to kiss her on the cheek. "Am I going to answer you the same thing everytime, auntie? Because if yes, then my answer is also yes."

Before Joonghyuk's mother could answer, you heard your mother's voice behind you. "I get a glare from my daughter and you get a kiss on the cheek?" You turned around to see her pouting and Joonghyuk smiling behind her.

You chuckled and went to your mother to give her a kiss.

"Wash yourself, airhead. You stink." You said to the man behind.

He smirked and pinched your cheek. "Said the girl who's stinkier than I am." You slapped his arm when your cheek's started to hurt.

You held your cheek when he lets go and glared at him. "Wait till I beat the shit out of you."

"A kiss isn't too hard to give, Y/n." Your eyes widened when you heard his words. Your face flushed in embarrassment when you heard your mom and his mom squeal. He winked at you before he left to get changed.

How could he just say that with our parents here?!
