Chapter 2

"Y/n!" You turned around and saw Yoo Sangah waving her arms. You smiled and walked towards her. 

"Hey, it's nice to see you again!" You said and hugged her so tight. "It's been a while." You look at her from head to toe with a smile. 

She eyed you suspiciously. "Hm.. I'm really curious about you now, you know? You've been the talk of my class." You furrowed your brows in confusion. "Are you and Yu Joonghyuk dating?"

You were quite for a few minutes before you burst out laughing. "Me? Him? Date? That's ridiculous and impossible."

Sangah rolled her eyes. "No, it's not silly." She cling her hands on yours before you both started walking. "You both are quite the catch you know? You look good together." 

You laughed. "What are you talking about? We're just friends and rivals, that's that."

You step foot inside the cafeteria and you roamed your eyes around and it landed on him. 

"Speak of the devil." Yoo Sangah said when she saw Joonghyuk sat on one of the table with his friends. You and Joonghyuk were staring with each other until you broke the eye contact first because of Yoo Sangah. 

"You're not denying everything after this. Look at how you look at him!" She squealed silently on your side. 

You rolled your eyes at her before you and Yoo Sangah went to the counter to buy some foods. 

"Where should we sit?" You whispered. 

"It's packed." Yoo Sangah also said. "Let's sit with Joonghyuk and his friends?"

You immediately looked at her. "What? No."

Sangah squints her eyes at you with a grin. "There's no use being all shy to your man, bestie."

Before you can say anything she already pulled you towards Joonghyuk's table. When you're both standing beside them, Joonghyuk raised his head. He immediately looked at you and raised one of his brows.

"Sangah? Need anything?" You look at Kim Dokja who asked the lady beside you. 

"Can we sit beside you guys? We can't find anywhere to sit." Sangah said and showed them her puppy eyes. You cringed slightly which earned a chuckle from Joonghyuk. 

You look at him when you heard his laugh. He was still wearing his smile when he slightly moved and tap the seat beside him. 

"Sit here." 

You smiled sarcastically at him. "What am I, your dog?"

He chuckled, he hid his smile by his hands and tap the space beside him. "How am I suppose to say it? You can sit here, babe?"

Your face flushed. "I hate you." You said before you sat down beside him. 

After you sat down you looked in front of you and Sangah's already seated beside Kim Dokja who's looking at you and Joonghyuk like they're watching some romance movies. 

"The hell?" You said and glared the two people in front of you. 

They ignored you and they turned their head towards Joonghyuk who's on your right side. "Hey, Joonghyuk?" The man look at them and raised his brow. "Rumors are going around saying that you two are dating, is it true?"

You also look at him and he laughed. "We're friends."

You don't know but you're kind of disappointed by his answer. 

"That's my answer for now." He suddenly looked at you and you were frozen when you realized how close your faces are.

You've been with him since forever and you've just realized how extremely handsome he is. Joonghyuk broke the eye contact first but before he look away he gave you a wink. 

You cleared your throat and acted like nothing happened. When you look at Sangah, she was already looking at you. She was smiling, a kind of smile that is telling her something more. 

That's not the answer a friend and a rival should say. For now.. huh?
