"Spiritwatcher, what news do you bring?" a light grey-blue she cat called out. Suddenly, a starry tom appeared, stepping out as his calico fur brushed against the undergrowth of the hollow. He smiled at the she, his blind blue eyes fixed on her. "I'm pleased to hear Emberfern will be expecting cubs soon. Especially after this terrible season," he spoke, as he seemed to recall a recent, yet distant memory. The blue-grey she cat murmured sympathetically. "The disease is growing worse each year. Do you think we may be able to find a treatment?" she asked.

Spiritwatcher nodded. "Do not worry. You bring me to my next point. Emberfern will have three cubs. A copper-colored one with a burning flame that cannot be doused by water. A tortoiseshell one with the keen curiosity of herbs, and knowledge will lead him to become great," he spoke.

The tom's eyes grew dark. "Then, a she cat will be born. A runt with a brown pelt. She is important, Cypresslily," he said.

The she's tail twitched, and concern grew in her eyes. "Why is that?" she queried. The tom looked up to face her. His eyes grew wider, as if he was trying to see something. "I see a she with a heart filled with empathy, loyalty, and grace. She will oftentimes forgive and apologize more than she needs, but she will serve the clan fabulously. I see another. A rival. They will be filled with bitterness, with a vindictive nature. Their heart will be filled with poison. However, this kin of yours. She, along with six others will be the saviors of the clan, and will protect the clan from the potent venom this hateful cat expels, which not only could harm one clan, but kill the others." he said.

Cypresslily's eyes widened, and she shook some. "Y-Y...You mean, m-my kin will save the clans?" she stuttered. Spiritwatcher only nodded. "Well, what all can I do? I can't just wait for the prophecy to go underway before I can protect my clan!" she meowed, worriedly.
"Even I cannot see that far, Cypresslily," the blind cat said to her, "I only wish I could. Even if I can see a single glance into the future, all I see is a triangle," and with that, the she cat perked up. "A triangle? What could that mean?" she asked.

The tom cat seemed to think for a bit. "A triangle has three sides. Three cats will be connected," he said. The she cat nodded. "I appreciate your help, grandfather," she said. The tom purred.

"Well, I have to go. Emberfern needs me," she said. She paused as the tom dipped his head.

"Oh, and Spiritwatcher?" she said. The tom looked up.

She smiled. "Look after Stormcloud for me," she said. Spiritwatcher smiled back, and dipped his head. And soon enough, Cypresslily disappeared into the undergrowth.
