Chapter 9: A Queen and a King arrive home

Mary POV

Our wedding tour is now over and we have to go back to French Court. We have to go back to reality and I'm not sure I'm ready. " Bash, can we go back to the chateau instead of the castle. I want more time, together with not every eye on us. Seeing if I am already with child. " I say to Bash. " If not , when we get back to the castle we could try" Bash says as he leans in and kisses me. I just hope that once we arrived there is no new couples or that everything has gone into carious. I want everything to be back to normal as possible, even though it might not be. I hope my ladies are in a courtship or seeking one. I brought them here to help me , but also so that they could have a better life. But right now, I am married and I have to worry about 2 countries. 

Bash POV 

I can't believe that I soon will be King and Mary will be my queen. I just don't know if I can face court with me changing the line of succession. But me and Mary wanted to save Francis from his death if he was to wed Mary. He is going to live a long happy life with a wife and children. Who knows if he will still live in court , but if he does he is always welcome. He is my brother and will always love him. Now I have someone else to love, Mary. She is my wife , and the future queen of France. I just hope that she is with child, it strengthens her reign if we need to expand to other countries like England. Soon we reached the Castle and we received a warm welcome from everyone. " Lola, Kenna, Gier!" I hear Mary say excitedly as she yes out of the carriage. " Mary, you are back! Tell us everything" Kenna tells Mary as the four of them walk away. " Bash!" I hear Francis say as I walk towards him. " I need to talk to you, about a few things once you are rested from your journey. So after dinner?" Francis asks me. " Alright, I will meet you then." I say and meet up with Catherine who is more like my mother since Diane is dead. I will never be her son, she hates me but she has grown to accept me. 

Mary POV 

" The Chateaus were amazing, they were everything that I had dreamed of , stained glass . " I tell them. " What has happened here at court, anything interesting? " I ask them and they start to look at Lola. I think it is because she knows the most. "Lola , why don't you tell me. Anything happen?" I ask and reach for her hand. " Um, there was nothing really happening. The servants were the same and everything else. Nothing going on for me." Lola tells me and Kenna rolls her eyes. I know that there is something going on, why isn't Lola going to tell me. I don't know if i should order Lola to tell me. Maybe she isn't ready to tell me. Maybe later I can ask her and she will tell me, she might be more comfortable then. It is nice to be back with my friends because soon I will be Queen and I won't be able to be around them as much. 

Lola POV 

Kenna tried to blow my cover about me and Francis. I know that I have to tell Mary. She is my friend and I care about her. She is basically like my sister. I know that I need to tell her now because of the chance that I could be with child and that me and Francis are going to be married so after. I don't want to be pregnant for too long and not married. If I am then I have to tell Francis so we can get married quickly. I need to figure out if I am or not before I tell Mary. If I am it might crush her and I will feel terrible but she will have children one day. Soon Mary had to rest , so I too returned to my chambers and decided to figure it out for myself. I had remembered when I last had my period and it was over 5 weeks ago. I also know that Catherine would soon figure it out. So I decided to figure it out. I soon found out that I was with Child and Francis is the father. I need to go tell him. I left my chambers and found Francis in the hallway talking to a nobleman. He was facing me so when he saw me he excused himself. " Lola , what is wrong?" Francis asked me. " Nothing is wrong , follow me. " I say as I walk into my chamber to tell him the news. " Francis , we have to tell Mary and Bash about us later. Anyway why I asked to here is not for what you may be thinking. It is actually because I have to tell you something, I am with child Francis. We are going to have a baby. " I tell him and I start to break down. I knew that I wanted children but not outside of a marriage. " Oh Lola, that is great news. I love you, Lola and our child. I was going to save this for a few weeks from now but right now seems like the best time. Lola, I have loved you since the day that I have layed my eyes on you I have loved you. When I met you, I knew we could never be together but things have changed and now we are here. In this moment. Lola will you marry me and make me the happiest man in the world. " He asks me on one knee. " Francis, of course I will. I would love to marry you. " I tell him , he gets up and we kiss. My life has changed so much in these past few hours . I am with child and engaged to be married to the Man of my dreams. " Do we tell Mary and Bash about the fact that you are with Child or do we wait?" Francis asks me. " I will start to show soon. I think I am already about 2 months along. We need to get married soon and quickly so no one suspects anything. " I tell him as we embrace. Wow, everything has no changed in my life.
