"My brother?!" Charlotte said a little too loud, Astoria shushing her. She looked to the other side of the table, seeing all of them look to them while Adrian was looking down with reddened cheeks.

"Quiet down! They'll hear you with your loud mouth." Astoria giggled, quickly looking away from Adrian as he looked to her.

"Fuck I actually think they heard you." She shook her head. "There's no way. They're too far away to hear us. It's not like they have super hearing." She rolled her eyes playfully.

"You're probably right. But yes", she smiled softly, "your brother seems nice." Charlotte nodded her head rapidly as in a definite yes manner.

"Now that is correct. He is the sweetest person out there and even though he might seem like a stuck up little bitch sometimes do not worry. He's a sweetheart." If only she knew her brother and the rest of the group was hearing them from all the way on the other side of the table.

"Awee", Theo said, resting his head on Adrian shoulder and wrapping an arm around his shoulder. "She thinks you're a sweetheart of a brother." He awed, Adrian shrugging him off.

"And let's not talk about your gorgeous lover girl." 'Shut up' Adrian mumbled under his breath, earning a chuckle from all of them.

"I know you're dying on the inside now that you know she likes you back." He tried to hold in a smile, rolling his eyes playfully.

"Yea yea fuck you." He looked to her once again, watching her smile at what Coraline was saying. "Any crushes on your part?" Charlotte was quiet, shaking her head.

"Yea actually. Cedric Diggory the Hufflepuff." Of course she didn't like him but there's a reason why she even spoke louder while saying it. Yes they were on the other side of the table, but that didn't mean they were that far. He would've heard her even if she didn't speak louder but she didn't know that.

His jaw ticked at her response, his eyes throwing daggers at her. Neither of them had spoken to each other, her ignoring him. He knew she just wanted to make him crack.

"Well I guess Char likes Diggory. It's better than liking one of us vampires." Blaise said. Draco was silent as they all agreed, his jaw clenched as he kept his eyes on her. She really wanted him to do something about it.

"Do you want to go to the library with me? It's really quiet now that everyone's here at the great hall." Astoria nodded, both of them standing up. Charlotte purposely passed by the group, them going quiet as not only her but Astoria passed by.

"Mate you should definitely go for it. I mean now you know she actually likes you back." Adrian shook his head, playing around with his food.

"You know I get nervous." Enzo groaned at his words. "Come on live a little. What's the worst that could happen? Because it's obviously not her rejecting you." Adrian rolled his eyes playfully, shrugging.

"But I'm a vampire, Theo. She's not going to be ok with that." Theo shook Adrian, pushing his head to the side. "You're dumb. Girls barely care about that anymore. They only do if you know you try to kill them." He laughed. Adrian shrugged. "I'll see."

"I'm going to head back to our dorm. I'm feeling kind of tired already." Draco said, breaking them out of their moment.

"Are you ok?" Blaise asked. "Yea I'm fine. Just tired." They nodded in understanding, not pushing it further. It was dinner time so they were either way going to the dorm in a while.

But he wasn't actually going there. He was going to see what Charlotte was doing. He actually couldn't believe she liked Diggory. I mean with how much of a self centered guy he is. He rolled his eyes to himself, now entering the library.

Whispers were heard as he entered, him immediately knowing it was Charlotte talking. "Creatures book? I'm not really a big believer in that kind of stuff." He heard Astoria hum. "We'll me neither but I love reading the interesting facts about it it's like they really are real."

Charlotte chuckled. "If you say so I guess." Astoria gasped before talking.

"Oh my god imagine there's a hot ass vampire in the school. I would date them." Charlotte giggled, rolling her eyes playfully. "But won't they kill you? They do need blood to survive, right?"

Astoria scoffed. "Well they won't hurt you if they like you, don't you think?" Charlotte agreed, walking out of the aisle. Draco could see Astoria get a table in the far left, it being in the back of the library. He would see Charlotte drop the book before going back into the aisle while Astoria stayed sat on the table.

He quickly got into the same aisle as her, seeing her reach up to grab a book on the top shelf. One of his hands went to her waist, the other one going to the book and grabbing it with ease. She was startled, quickly turning around with her eyes widened. She calmed down a little when she saw it was him, rolling her eyes.

"What do you want now?" She said, trying not to lean into his touch. His hand was still on her waist, his fingers digging into her skin.

"You like Diggory?" She winced at his fingers that were pressing into her skin. "What if I do? What's it to you?" He chuckled dryly, looking at her darkly.

"Nothing. It's just the fact that you so desperately wanted my touch the other day and now you want Diggory's", he squinted his eyes slightly in a teasing manner, "or do you?"

She scoffed at his words. "I wanted your touch? Let's keep in mind how you were the one that came up to me at the party to take me up to my dorm because you didn't want me to have fun with any other guy. Or am I wrong?"

"You really think I want you?" He said out of the blue. She couldn't help but feel a pang in her heart at his words. But she wasn't going to let him see that.

"Seems like it." She shrugged. "If you don't then why are you all up in my space asking me if I truly like Cedric? Doesn't really seem like you're sticking to your 'don't want you' word."

Eyeing the book she wanted in his hand, she nodded her head at it. "Read it", it was a herbology book, "maybe it will distract you from the eagerness you have of trying to get in my business."

She shoved him off, him not even knowing what to say. His jaw was clenched tightly as he watched her walk away, his nails digging into the leather book.

He put the book back angrily, walking out of the aisle and out of the library. He was fuming at her words.

But there was no way he was going to let Cedric touch her.
