Charlotte finally turned around as soon as Christopher left, trying to make up an apology.
"I'm so so sorry for-." Draco stood in front of her, his chest dripping with water droplets as she gawked at him. 𝙃𝙚𝙧 𝙗𝙖𝙘𝙠 𝙝𝙖𝙙 𝙗𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙨𝙩 𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙬𝙚𝙩 𝙣𝙖𝙠𝙚𝙙 𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙨𝙩.
Yes they have done more than just see each other naked, but she has never seen his full chest exposed with just a towel around his waist.
He leaned against the wall of the doorway, crossing his arms over his chest teasingly. "Sorry for what? You're always welcome to join." If her face could get any redder than it already was then it did.
Walking out of the bathroom and into the room, he grabbed his clothes from the cabinets, her just standing there watching awkwardly.
"Are you planning to stay and watch or do you have something else to say?" She scoffed, rolling her eyes at how much she just knew she was flattering him. She turned around, hearing him snicker as he put on some clothes.
"Don't flatter yourself, Malfoy. I just don't want to leave now because I know Christopher is close." She turned around, seeing Draco tilt his head to the side at the sound of the boys name.
"Now that we're once again on that topic, explain to me from where you know him."
"It's really none of your business." He chuckled dryly as he eyed her, watching her sit down on his bed, her still thinking it's Adrian's. He never made a move to tell her it wasn't, loving how she looked laid down on his bed. He watched her lay back making her skirt ride up.
"It is when it makes you come into my dorm for help." She sat back up, her hands holding her weight up as she looked at him.
"You've seem to forgotten that this is also my brothers room." He hummed, sitting on Theo's bed which was the one next to his.
"Well in that case let's just say it became my business the second you walked into the bathroom and I was in it." She stayed quiet, laying back down.
"He was just a guy I use to talk to. I had met him a while back and we had been talking but he suddenly wanted to meet but I was scared because you don't know who could try to do something to you these days. So I declined it and he got very", she paused, "violent. He said he would find me and he would hurt me when he did all because of me rejecting his invitation to go out. Luckily by the looks of it I saved myself from something bad happening."
Never had she thought she would be telling Draco, of all people, her past. It isn't deep or anything, but yet it's still a piece of her.
"Thank fucking goodness you didn't go out with him when he asked. Who knows what could've happened to you." She hummed, agreeing with him as she stared at the ceiling. She wondered if she could ask him questions about him too since they're just sitting there silently.
"I can feel your head burning with questions. Ask me them." Her eyebrows furrowed, him talking before she even opened her mouth to ask how he knew she wanted to question him.
"Not only am I a vampire, but I'm also a witch. I can read your thoughts very well." 'Oh god.' She thought to herself, knowing there were some bad things thought about him that were supposed to be kept to herself. He chuckled dryly, her knowing that meant he was listening to them still.
"Stop!" She exclaimed and covered her ears as if that could help, groaning. "Talk to me." He said, her gulping as she took her hands away from her ears.
"How does it feel to be a vampire?" Was her first of many question.
"Doesn't feel as bad as you may think", he looked to her, connecting his eyes with hers, "and doesn't seem as cool as you may also think either."
"In what way?" She said lowly, wanting to know how it actually felt to be a vampire from him instead of reading stuff from books to find out.
"I'm the way where, yes, it might be cool to be immortal and have special abilities, but it isn't exactly the best when you have to live with the fact that you're dead and have to drink blood to survive."
That thought seemed to haunt him by the look on his face. He was now staring at a random spot on the bed, playing around with his rings.
"But don't the good things about it outweigh the bad things?" She said.
"Not when you see the people you love die and you're there to witness all of it. Just like I witnessed my mom die." He said the last part lower than the rest. Her heart shattered for him. She felt awful.
"I'm so sorry. Can I ask how?" She was now giving him her full attention. He was staring at the ground, trying to gather his words.
"My dad. He- killed her once she got violent at the fact he turned me into one of them. I wasn't home when it happened, so I couldn't even give her my blood to bring her back even as a vampire. She was everything I had." She didn't even know what to say, her eyes were trying to search for his eyes, seeing them look anywhere else but at her. She could see slight panic in them as they tried to avoid her, her now sitting at the edge of the bed as she tried to look at his eyes.
"It is completely okay for you to be feeling like this and I know it is tough sometimes knowing your mom died because she was upset for something that happened to you", he shut his eyes at that, "but that is not your fault. And she would want you to know that very clearly. Just the fact that she would defend you endlessly against your father is enough for you to know that you were her everything too. And she wouldn't want you to be doubting her love for you." He didn't try to look at her.
"I know how it feels. I lost my mom too as you may know", of course he knew, "so I know where you're coming from. I'm not saying you will go on with your life as if nothing after a while, I'm saying that you will once come to your senses and notice that it wasn't and isn't your fault."
He was panicking inside and she didn't notice. He couldn't believe he opened up to her, he had never done that with anyone, especially talking about his mom. He tried to hide his heavy breathing, finally looking into her eyes, his pupils dilated.
"You need to leave." His words stung her a little bit, his usual cold self coming back. But she knew not to push it, not when they were talking about a sensitive topic that she knew would just make him realize things.
She just nodded, getting up. As she walked to the door she turned around, watching him hurry to the bathroom and slam the door.
After she left, he had a full blown panic attack. He still couldn't wrap his head around the fact that he told Charlotte his most vulnerable moment. He didn't know why he felt so comfortable around her, but he just knew he had to stay away from her.
One way or another.

Fanfic"You really don't have a clue, huh?" She rolled her eyes at his words, scowling at him. She was really trying to figure it all out. "Well if I did then I would be scared just like Adrian apparently said I would be", she hummed, "but of course you di...
