The Party

Emily's POV

After Nick dropped me at my house, i called Lilly, and we made a sleepover in her house, she came to pick me up after i got home. I really like Nick, thats all i can think about, but i just, im scared, thats the problem.
"Wake your lazy ass up" she threw a pillow at me, yeah, thats how she is.
"What do you want, you ugly monster?" I told her. It was like 10:00 am, its saturday.
"We're going to Starbucks" she said. I got up as quickly as i could.
"Now you want to get up" she said, i fake laughed at her.She let her hair down and put eyeliner. So did i. She looked pretty. We got in the car, she was driving. We got off the cars and open the door to get in Starbucks. I love the smell of coffee. We went to the register and the guy who attended us was gorgous, gosh. Wait a minute, is that Joshua?
"Hey Emily" he said, Joshua was my best friend in middle school. "Joshua??" I asked him, he nodded, gosh, he came to give me a hug, and i hugged him back.
"Umm, *cough* awkward *cough* " Lilly said, gosh shes annoying. I started busting out laughing for no reason
"You havent changed even a little bit, Lilly" he said smirking at her. She stuck her tongue out. She gave him a hug too.
"Well, i want a mocha coffee please" i said.
"I want a cappuchino" Lilly said. We found a table and sit.
Suddenly Lilly got a call, she spent there a while talking. What was it about?. She came and sit down again.
"Who was it" i asked her.
"What?" She said.
"I said who was it".
"I think the curiosity killed the cat" she said.
"Gosh you're annoying" i whined. She laughed.
"I'll tell u whwn the coffes come up" she said. Then Joshua came with the coffees,
"Here you go, ladies" he said, smiling at us.
"Thanks, how much will it be tho?" I asked him. He just kept smiling at me.
"Dont worry, its on the house" he said. Omg, i cant do it.
"No no no no. Hell no, tell me how much is it" i said to him. I kept whining about it and he just kept laughing.
"Hey hey hey, calm down, its on me, dont worry." He said, he smiled at me.
"Ok, but i gotta give u something back, what do u want?" I asked him, he was my best friend, i trusted him more than anything, i still do. I missed him, i really did.
"Maybe a hug from my best friend" he said putting his arms up.
"U dont even have to ask" i said going right up to his arms. I gave him a kiss on the cheek.
"I missed u" he said. I blushed at the moment. I missed him too.
"I missed u too" i said. He went back to work.
"Kk now tell me who called u" i said to Lilly.
"It was Max, Neil is gonna make a party on his house tonight and we're going" she said. Uh huh, gosh i just, ughh idk if i really want to go.
"Ughhh" i whined. Before i could speak, she interrupted me.
"Dont even start whining, we're going and thats final, plus, you're not gonna be alone, Nick is going with you, and im going with Max" she said, she blushed when she said 'Max'.
"Ughh ok, but what r we gonna wear?" I asked.
"Dont worry, ive got it planned" ive gotta admit it, she scared me sometimes. We were gonna leave already.
"Hey Joshua, maybe we can hang out some time and talk about what has happened, i mean, if thats ok" i yelled across the place to him .
"Sure, i'd love to, i'll text you" he said.
"Kk" i said. I opened the door to leave.
"Hey hey hold up, dont think ur leaving without giving me a hug" he said. He jumped over the register and came up to me. He hugged me, i hugged him back. We left and we went to Lillys house. We tried a million dresses, until we found the ones. (Picture at the start). It was 8:15 and Max came to pick us up with Nick. We got there and Nick started to hold my hand as soon as we got in. There were disco lights everywhere, and music outloud, i could feel myself vibrating for the music. I see people making out, dancing, drinking, playing games. i feel someone tapping my shoulder.
"Hey little pet" i heard, Nick and i turnes around and see Katie.
"What do you want, you slut?" Nick said to her. She faked hurt. Then she started to look at me up and down and make a disgust face.
"You look ugly you know that right?" She said. Omg girl, this is gonna get tough, im not keeping up with her shit anymore. Shes gonna get her ass wouped right now.
