Am i dead?

Sharon's POV

Its so dark, i can barely see, i fell asleep and now i wake up, and here i am. I dont have ropes tieing me up anymore. Where am i? Why am i kidnapped? By who? I feel a tear coming down ny cheek as i pull my legs to my chest and hug em. Sobbing. Suddenly i hear the door opening. I turn around to see who it was. Im scared. Wait what. Mom?
"Mom?" I asked. No way, it cant be her. Why is she doing this?
"You have made my life impossible since you came to life, and u have to pay, and i will make you" she yelled at me. Why? What did i ever do? I couldnt stop crying.
"Get up" she said, i ignored her.
"GET UP" she growled. I get up. Then i feel her hand right into my cheek. I fall down to the floor. I cant believe that my mother, my own mother, just slapped me. After she slapped me she leaned down and pull me against the wall.

After she pulled me against the wall, two men came in and start kicking me and beating me up, my mom wants me dead, she doesnt even deserves to be called "mom". How could she do this to me? I cry and cry and cry. She came in again.
"Im tired of you crying and crying" she said. Then one man picked me up, i tried to stop him but he punched me. He kept walking and walking until we stopped at some street, and he threw me to the floor. I saw him pulling his belf off, and there it was, when the belt was going right straight to my back, i can feel myself bleeding.....
I try to get up, at the first try, i fall down, then i try again, i did it. I dont know where i am. What do i do. Suddenly i hear someone calling my name.
"Emily? OMG EMILY ARE YOU OK?" He yelled, its Joshua. I shake my head no.
"OMG, WHO DID THIS TO YOY? HOLD ON, WE'RE GOING TO THE HOSPITAL" he said. I couldnt take it anymore, it hurt me, phisically and mentally.

I open my eyes, i tried to stand up, but i cant, i can barely move, i pull my head up to see if anyones here. Im in a hospital. I think of my mom, slapping me, throwing me to the floor, kicking me, why would she do that? Then i feel a tear coming down my face.
"Shes awake" i hear a woman say. I see Nick rushing through the door. I can say he's been crying, i can see it in his eyes.
"Oh my gosh Emily, i thought i had lost you" he cried. He hugged me. I hugged him tight. I started crying too.
"Who did this to you?" He asked me, it hurts me just to think about it. I open my mouth to speak but nothing came out.
"My m......Aranza" i said, i couldnt call her mom anymore. Nick's eyes widened as i say her name.
"WHAT?" They all asked at the same time. Max, Lilly and Nick.
"She sent those men to kidnap me" i said, i started sobbing again. Nick pulled me into his arms.
"How could she do this to you?" Lilly asked me, giving me a hug. I nodded.
"Hey, its gonna be ok, shes not gonna hurt you again, we wont let her hurt you" Max said.
"Thats right" said Nick.
"But wait, you're not coming back home, are you?" Max asked. Gosh, i hadnt thought about it, what am i gonna do.
"You can stay with me, my parents wouldnt mind, they like you" Lilly said.
"I dont wanna cause any trouble" i said. I really dont.
"Honey, i cause a lot of trouble, i dont think u can cause more than me" she said. We all laughed.
"Dont worry, babe, Max and i will go with you to your house so you can take your stuff, and we wont let anyone hurt you, we will be right behind you" Nick said.
"Whoa, 'babe'? So are you all a thing now?" Max asked.
"No" i said
"Yes" Nick said. We looked at each other. "Not yet" he said while smirking at me.
Suddenly the doctor came in.
"Guys, im gonna need to to go out for a minute, i gotta ask her a few questions" she said. They all nodded. Lilly gives me a hug, Max waves his hand at me, and Nick hugs me and kisses my forehead.
"Well, Emily, who did this to you?" She asked me. I cant tell her, because if i tell anyone, they will go after her and she will do something to me, and i dont want that.
"I-i fell downstairs" i stuttred.
"Well, thats not how it looks like, honey, you can trust us, you're going to be ok" she said nicely while grabbing my hands. Suddenly Max came in.
"Emily, say the truth, you wont be safe until you tell em the truth so they can go after them" he said. I give him a death glare. "Ok ok, my mo....Aranza did it, shes my mother, she said i had made her life impossible and she sent two men to kidnap me and they did this to me" i said. Her eyes widened.
"Can you tell me her name?" She asked me.
"Aranza, Aranza Lopéz" i said.
"And could you recognize the men that beat u up?" She said.
"Not really, just a little bit, it was dark, so i couldnt see them well, one of em had light brown hair and light green eyes. The other one had black hair, he was pale, and very strong" i said.
"And what about your father?" She asked.
"I really dont know, we have never have a real talk, hes never home and two weeks ago he went on a work trip, i havent heard of him since then" i said. I actually miss him.
"Can u tell me his name?"
"Maurice Gordon"
She nodded after i said her name.
"Honey im so sorry, but he had an accident about a week ago, he was on the airplane and it exploded" she said. My heart sunk at her words. A tear came down my face.
She left the room. Lillys parents entered the room.
"Hey honey" Hanna said.
"Hey" i said.
"We heard you dont have a place to stay and we would mind you staying at our house, we've got an extra room or you can stay with Lilly. If thats ok with you" she said nicely,
"Yeah sure, thank you so much"
"No problem"
Once they left the room. I start thinkinf and thinking. Omg i totally forgot about Joshua. Lilly came in.
"Where's Joshua?" I asked her.
"Im right here" he said entering the room.
"I-i-i wanna thank you" i whispered.
"You dont have to thank me, im always gonna be here for you" he said. I give him a hug, when Nick come in the room.
"Whos him" he asked fake smiling.
"Nick, this is Joshua, Joshua, this is Nick, Nick, Joshua was my best friend when we were in middle school" i said
"Oh, so this is Nick?, the guy you have a crush on?" He said.
"SHHHH" i shhhed him. Nick laughed. He looked jealous.
"Hey man, you dont have to worry, im interested on somebody else" Joshua said.
"Thanks god" Nick said. We all laughed.
"Well, i'll leave you all alone, i'll see you later Emily" Joshusa said. I nodded, he left the room.
"When can i get outta here?" I asked.
"The doctor said you can start packing up" he said. Yaay
"Yaay" i said. I looked hurt tho.
'Whats wrong?" Nick asked me
"It just, it hurts me" i said.
"I know babe, im here for you whenever you need me'' he said. I got up and give him a hug.
"I love you"
