POV: Melissa
While I was at my grandparents house Amanda and Mei were in Kyōto together. I was at first a bit jealous that Amanda was by her but I couldn't help it and just accepted it.
Grandma: So how long have you been in a relationship with Mei?
Me: Since the end of the 9th grade, Grandma.
Grandma: Where is she right now?
Me: She lives now in Japan so I can't really visit her.
Grandma: Can't you or aren't you allowed to visit her?
Me: I can't visit her because school starts in two days.
Grandma: Did you called her?
Me: Yes. We talked over a few days ago.
My grandma encouraged me to visit her in the summer break so after the dinner with my whole family I went to my bedroom and called Mei to ask her if she wouldn't mind if I come visit her in the summer break. She told me that she couldn't give me an answer right now and yelled through the phone that she would call me back later.
She then hung up on me and I fell down on the bed and didn't knew what to do with myself. I stood up after a while and knocked on my cousins door. She looked at me with a confused expression when I asked her if she wanted to play a game.
Sara: What do you want to play, Lisa?
I sat down on the floor and told her that we could play anything that she wants to play so she pulled out a Monopoly game and asked me if I wanted to be the bank so I nodded my head and helped her to build everything up. After everything was done she took out two tiny cubes, handed me one and the game started. She was at first very good at this game but lost a lot of money in the 3 round.
We played until I had more money than her. She wanted to continue playing but then my mom knocked on the door and told me that we would go home so I helped my cousin, then said bye to my Grandparents and to my cousin before we drove home. On the ride back home I didn't talked to my parents and just used my phone.
After I was ready to go to sleep I heard my phone buzzing so I picked it up and saw that Mei was calling me back so I accepted the call. She started the call with apologizing to me by explaining why she couldn't answer question earlier. I was happy to hear her voice even if she's not next to me.

Mei: So how was your day, Lisa?
Mei: Did you talked to your
grandma today ?
Me: Yes.
Me: Could I actually visit you in
the summer break?
Mei: I should ask my parents.
Mei: They would ask your parents but I
think that it wouldn't be a problem
for you to visit me :)
