TW: Abuse,violence, cursing, blood
POV: Yuki
I stood next to the school gates and used my phone to know what time it was because I was waiting for Mei but as she arrived it looked like she was not listening to me while we walked towards the school building. I asked her a question, she didn't react so I raised my voice to ask her a question and she shrieked together and replied with a confusing look on her face.
Me: I was asking you a question and you didn't replied.
Mei: Sorry but could you repeat your question?
I let out a loud sigh and afterwards asked her the question. She then replied but afterwards remained silent as she zoned out again. When I then said bye to her and went to my class I thought about the reason why she was like that. After the first lesson was over I wanted to go to Mei's class but then stopped when I saw that another girl talked to her. I wanted to approach her but then just went back to class since the bell rang.
In the first break I texted Mei and asked if she wanted to have lunch. She didn't replied so I walked to her class and then knocked on the door but didn't heard anything so I opened the door and saw that Mei was still sitting by her desk but she slept. I walked slowly to her and sat in front of her. I started to open my bento box and Mei lifted her head and looked at me with sleepy eyes.
Mei: What are you doing here?
I showed her the message that I sent to her and held my chopsticks in front of her face. She moved her head towards me and ate the food that I gave her. We didn't talked to each other but it was ok for me but then the face she did in the morning crossed my mind so I carefully asked her about it.
Mei: Uhm-the thing is that my best friend saw us kissing.
I looked at her with wide eyes.
Me: Your friend saw us? When?
Mei: By the tournament. She called me yesterday and told me that but then said that she didn't told that my girlfriend.
I was quite surprised by Amanda's actions - I never thought that she would do something like that.
Me: But that's actually good.
Mei: Why?
Me: She's loyal to you which means that she wouldn't tell your girlfriend our little secret.
Mei: So you want me to not tell her the truth?
I stood up and lend over my desk and told her that she wouldn't even dare to do it. She looked down and asked me what she could else do.
Me: Just be careful and don't let your guard down around her. Not when you call her, ok.
She then nodded her head afterwards and then the bell rang.
After school
I went with Mei downstairs to our lockers but then Mei got a call and waited to put her shoes on and went to the bathroom. I put my shoes on and then wanted to take her shoes out but then saw three letters in Mei's locker - they were confession letters. I took them out and then put them in my bag, took the shoes with me and went to the bathroom. I gave her her shoes and then we went to her house. When we were there I took my shoes off and her mother approached us and asked if we wanted to have dinner with them. I agreed and helped her mother in the kitchen while Mei brought our bags upstairs.
After the dinner I went with Mei upstairs and we did some random stuff until I had to go home. Mei brought me to the tram station and we said bye to each other. When I entered the tram I took the letters out and read them. After a couple of stations I got out of the tram and went home but then stopped by a trash can and ripped those letters in pieces before throwing them away.
