Dear diary,
You would never guess that me - a normal 13 year old girl - could have the mind of an 18 year old, and that's what got me there, a boarding school in America. I got the letter that confirms my place for the summer term and I can't wait to enrol, I guess it's only up from where I'm standing!!
See you later,
Love Clove x'Sweetie, can you please get in the car now, we need to get your uniform ready for Saturday' my mum shouts to me. 'One minute mum' I yell back. I slip my diary under the covers, put the pen lid carefully over the tip of my best writing pen and slot it into my pen pot. I sprint down stairs without a care in the world, well, not counting how much I'm thinking about how angry my mum will be because I'm late.
We hop in the car, and discuss how exciting this whole experience is, until we make an unexpected stop in front of a derelict house at the end of the street, 'wait here, darling' mum says calmly, so I do what I'm told. mum walks towards the house and on to the path that's covered by bushes and prickles, she is out of sight. I turn the radio up and roll the window down all the way, as if to warn mum that I'm still here. But the questions build up, where are we?, who lives here? And what could happen next?
Tell me in the comments what you think, should I carry on with the story? This is my first publish.
