It was Saturday and I was finally free from everyone. It was the time of the week where my beloved friends would leave me alone and I was currently in my room alone. I sighed when I remembered everything that had happened; the punch I had received from Nick, the detention I got after that, the fight that happened yesterday and of course being sent to jail for a few minutes.
I rubbed my face with my palms and sighed really heavily. I got up from the bed and headed to the mirror across the bedroom. I was shocked to how I looked, my blond hair was a mess, I had bags under my eyes and I looked pale.
I sighed again and went to my walk through closet and picked out my clothes for the day. I picked a blue knitted sweater shirt and light grey pants and headed to my bathroom to freshen up. I took my toothbrush and applied some toothpaste. After I brush my teeth, I strip down my clothes and climbed my bath tub and sat there welcoming the hot warm water that touched my skin. I laid my head against the bath tub and closed my eyes.
"Zen, where are you? Come on, it's time to eat. Honey, don't just sit there and watch me yelling for Zen," said mother who was facing dad with frustration showing on her face.
"Come on, love. He's just a kid that wanted to have fun and besides he can eat later," said dad while stifling a laugh.
"What a family," sighed mother and sat beside dad while looking everywhere just to see if she can spot me.
"So love, what are you cooking today?" said dad while facing her.
"I don't know, maybe some ice cream for dessert," said mom while smiling.
"Ice-cream!" I screamed while coming out from the cupboard in the living room and hurried to my mother who was sitting there looking at me with her eyes filled with amusement.
"So, that's where you're hiding. Smart boy, now come on, time to eat then later, I'll give you two scoops of ice-cream. Your choice of ice-cream, might I add," she said while holding me on her lap.
"Alright, deal! Let's eat," I said while getting down from her lap and rushed my way to the kitchen waiting for my food and ice-cream. I heard laughter and saw mother and father holding each other's hands. Suddenly, everything changed. The scene changed and my mother's smile turned into a frown.
Mom?
"Zen, wake up! Zen!" shouted mother at me with her worried look.
"Mom, I'm awake. What are you talking about?" I said while looking at her.
"Wake up Zen!" Mom shouted at me while shaking me and I felt myself disappearing from the scene.
"Mom! Mom!" I screamed and woke up. I looked around and saw I was in the bathroom and was still in the bath tub. Huh, I must've dozed off. I got up, reached for the towel and wrapped around my body. I clogged of the tube and went to change into my clothes.
I walked down, heading for the kitchen to make myself some breakfast while checking my phone to see if anyone left any messages or calls. I headed to the living room and was about to sit on the couch when I remembered I left my notebook upstairs.
Well I can't say it was my notebook, it was actually my parents' notebook, their diary of me. Every day, I would read their diary and think to myself about what would happen if that incident didn't really happen. I sighed as I headed back up the stairs for the book.
In my room, I spotted my book. I grabbed it and decided to head to the balcony to read. Opening the doors, I walked outside. I smiled when I saw the blue sky above me.
