Chapter 10

Nick POV

"Doctor Matthew to the conference room please, " said a young nurse through the halls.

I sat there on the chair across the emergency room, Waiting for some news about Zen. I looked up, and saw Kai, sitting across from me looking scared and stunned. I bet no one actually saw it coming.

"Family of Zen?" a young male doctor voiced out from the emergency room. We all got up and rushed to the male doctor who looked like he was mid 20's.

"Doc, is he going to be alright?" asked Jason.

"Well, the truth is -he" before the doctor could say anything, Claire came rushing towards us while sobbing with Jessie.

"How is he?"

"As I was saying, Zen is alright for the moment. He had lost a lot of blood and his ribs are fracture due to the gun shot. So he's going to stay here for a couple of days just to see if he's perfectly alright."

"So he's going to be alright?" asked Jason and the doctor nod his head. With that the doctor left, and we all went back to our seats and kept quite.

He's going to be alright. My mind kept repeating the words until I felt my heads spinning with images of Zens motionless body, the gun shot and blood. I gripped my hair, and I think Kai notice it and sat beside me while rubbing my back. For some reason I felt at ease that Kai's rubbing my head.  Then I remembered about the girl and my head shot up so fast that Kai jumped in suprise. I look at CLaire and askedhow's the girl?" She  looked up and smiled softly.

"She's alright. She's in my mother house right now, sleeping."

I was about to ask her one more thing but was cut short when the nurse called us.

"You may go in and see him, we'll move him to a room later on," said the nurse with her young blonde hair. We all nod and the nurse left while smiling seductively at me. I got up, walked passed her without giving her any glance. 

"I think you guys should visit him first, I'll visit short while."

"Nick, come on, he might want to see you too, " Jessie said while resting her hand on my shoulder.I just shook my head and pulled her hand over my shoulder and pat it. I smiled softly and walked away.

I left the hospital, and it was raining. I sighed, and walked under the rain. I couldn't help but feel something weird.

All the months that I had spent with him, I don't even know this feeling that I'm feeling right now. I walked under the rain while trying to sort this weird feeling I'm feeling right now.

So this is how it felt like when you're about to lose someone you care. Care? Me? I sighed and just walked silently under the rain. I would get the bottom of this feeling and the most of all, I'm going to find the guy who is behind al l this and make him suffer!
