Hey guys. :)

This is my first Nate Ruess love story. I'm stealing and modifying some ideas from Archerygirl236.

Let's hope she doesn't mind.

It's going to be from Nate's point of view unless said otherwise at the beginning of a chapter.

I'm starting this story with Nate and his best girl friend (Ivy) in the year of 1998, Nate sixteen years old, and Ivy fifteen.

Warning: There will be more mature themes including

-Sexual references

-Mild sexual activity/nudity (no porn or lemon)

-Alcohol usage/abuse

A little backstory:

Nate Ruess and Ivy Callez grew up across the street from each other and were best friends their whole lives-and they still are. But now they're getting closer...and Nate develops a crush. But what about Ivy? When Nate and Ivy's friends find out about their never-before closeness, they develop a plan...and it just might work.

Fifteen years later, Nate is constantly found at the bar taking way too many shots of vodka. He goes through an extremely depressive stage until he reunites with a certain somebody...
