I know I said 1-3 weeks, but I'm back a bit early because I finished my pre-med exam and I am currently procrastinating with my school exam studies even though I probably shouldn't lmaooo. (10 more weeks and I'm finally graduating and thank goodness for that because it's been wayyyy too long.)

Anyways, I hope you enjoy the new update my loves ❤️ :))

Wednesday...

I'd been waiting for Wednesday for a whole 3 days. It felt like a lifetime. And now that Wednesday is finally here, waiting until 4pm to pick up my Subha, feels like an eternity.

These past few days my mind keeps taking me back to our first date. She looked amazing that night but when she started talking, god damn, her beauty left me starstruck. She was perfect. They way she was passionate about dance, her empathy towards others, her respectful yet opinionated views. I understood that she wasn't afraid to voice her opinions on any issues, but she never came off as rude.

God I can go on about her for hours and hours.

As I was lost in my thoughts of Subha and smiling like a fool, someone hit the back of my head.

"Oi, we get that you're about to be married soon, but if you stop smiling like a fool and focus on your work, we'd all appreciate it," Chandu said, coming in front of me with a teasing smile.

Stupid fool, he disturbed my beautiful thoughts. "I'll do whatever I want," I said, giving him a look.

"Yeah yeah, if you do whatever you want, how will you leave on time to meet you to-be wife, huh?" He countered back at me.

I groaned internally, I should've never told him about my date. But he is right.

"Okay fine, now get out of my sight. Your ugly face is distracting me too much," I said, turning towards my desk to look over all the case files and important emails.

"You just want me gone so you can go back to thinking about Subha, so I am not going to anywhere and I'll be doing my work right in front of you," He smiled with all his teeth and took a seat in front of me on my desk.

I shook my head. "Idiot," I muttered.

"I heard that."

"You were meant to," I continued on with my work, praying for 4pm to come around quicker.

~ Subha ~

I've never been this distracted. Especially while dancing.

The amount of mistakes I've made while teaching my students today is honestly embarrassing. I think it's safe to say my mind is thinking about something else, or rather, someone.

Since our last date we've texted heaps. And I mean heaps. Every night until sunrise. He makes me feel comfortable.

I kept checking the clock every few minutes, disappointed to see that it hasn't moved much.

"Miss, can you please help us with this move?" A students voice brought me out of my trance.

"Of course," I moved towards them.

Get a grip Subha I chastised myself. Just a few more hours and then I'll be with him again.

I made eye contact with my best friend Esha, who was across the room helping another group of students. She gave me a knowing look and a teasing smile. I turned my head away to avoid further embarrassment and focused on my students.
