I was about to do a backflip.

There were only a few more people in line in front of me, and I was squealing.

"Taylor," my friend Emma said, grabbing my arm, "calm down. You don't want Shawn to think you're nuts, yeah?"

"You're right," I said, gripping the sidebar. I sighed deeply, collecting myself.

Can't have him thinking I'm crazy, now, I thought.

I slung my drawstring backpack off of my shoulders and pulled out the flag, glasses, and my good camera. Then I dropped the bag on the other side of the staircase so it wouldn't be seen in the photo.

I was going to give a pair of glasses to Shawn, since my Twitter username and my phone number was written on them. This was my little gift back to him.

My hands started to sweat as I held the items. Trying to calm down, I turned on my camera and set it to photo mode. This was the nice one I used for filming for YouTube. I had another one, but it was the kind your grandma had that was as big as a graham cracker. I wanted to use the high quality one.

One more person in front of me.

I wiped my hands off for the final time before handing my camera to the guy and walking over to Shawn in front of his backdrop.

"H-hi," I stuttered, licking my lips nervously. "I'm Taylor."

He had this look of amazement. "Oh, I know you! You're on YouTube right?"

I almost fainted then and there. He watched my videos? I hadn't even said my last name!

"Y-yeah, I am." I was shocked, to say the least.

"Hey, Shawn!" the guy holding my camera said. He motioned that we had to take the picture now.

"Oh, right," I said. "Here, grab one end," I told Shawn, and we unfolded the Canadian flag. I handed him a pair of glasses that were shaped like maple leaves after we'd wrapped ourselves in the flag, and we leaned over.

"Smile!" the camera guy said, and I did so while showing a peace sign. Shawn did the same.

"Thank you so much, Shawn." I smiled gratefully.

"Thank you. Oh, here are your glasses," he said, taking them off, but I told him to keep them. He smiled, setting them down carefully by his feet.

"Thanks, hun," Shawn said before I walked off. My face was flushed when I took my camera back, and I was trying to gather what had happened as I stumbled to get my bag and signed poster.

"He called me 'hun,'" I said to myself, smiling. It was kinda funny, but I liked it.

I fumbled to grab my things, remembering the way his body felt pressed up against mine. It felt like a dream.

"I feel like I'm floating," Emma said, catching up to me with her bag and poster in one hand.

"He called me 'hun'," I said, still in a daze.

"Oh, that's adorable," she replied. "You guys looked so cute taking your photo."

We showed each other our photos, still standing in the hallway of the venue.
