*After Deb ball practice*
Belly and I walk out to our moms car and I already know she's mad. I get in the front seat and she asks in a yell, "Where the hell were you? Belly was almost late because you didn't tell anyone you took Jeremiah's vehicle to see him."
"Sorry mom, at least she wasn't."
"Give me your phone!"
I pull out my phone and angrily place it in her hand. My phone screen flashes on and off four or five times. My mom looks at my phone and her eyes get wide. "Y/n, what is this?" She asks showing me my phone screen.
On the screen it shows 5 texts from Conrad, 3 texts from Jeremiah, and 2 texts from Steven.

Conrad- Y/n, we need to talk.
Conrad- I know you snuck out to see Jere
Conrad: But even though you don't want to hear it.
Conrad: I choose you over whatever stupid feelings i've been having.
Conrad: Please just answer me, I still need you, even if it's just as friends.

Steven- What the hell is going on between you, Jeremiah, and Conrad?

"Mom i'm sorry. I've messed up really bad with the boys." I say with tears forming in my eyes.
"Yeah you have Y/n. I'm not going to sit here and tell you that you're in the right. But i'm sorry Y/n, you'll figure it out. You always do."
"You can't help me mom? If this was Belly you would step up and tell her exactly what to do! I need you this once mom and you can't help me?" I yell trying not to cry.
"Y/n I cannot stand your attitude since we got to Cousins! Get out of the car! Since you, Conrad, and Jeremiah are so tight. Get a ride from them!" She yells as I get out of the car.
She speeds off as soon as I slam the door shut. I grab my phone out of my pocket and hover over Jeremiah and Conrad's contact. I press Conrad's. It rings three times and then Conrad answers ecstatically with, "Hey Y/n!"
"Hey Con, um I need you right now." I say with my voice breaking.
"Where are you?" He asks serious now.
"I'm at the country club. Please hurry Con I seriously need you." I whisper sniffling and wiping my tears from my face.
"I'm on my way Y/n. Just wait i'll be there really soon."
*Five minutes later*
I see Conrad's car speed into the parking lot. He gets out immediately and runs over to me. "Hey what's wrong?" He asks pulling me into a hug.
"Con I just feel like i'm not enough. For anyone, Belly is always above me in every scenario. I just want to feel enough, just once Conrad. I need to feel enough, or I don't know what's gonna happen."
"Y/n, I choose you. I choose you over Belly. I need you Y/n, you're enough for me." He states pulling me shoulders length from him.
"Are you serious this time? Because if not I don't want you to break my heart again. We have to work out if we're gonna give it a try."
"I promise Y/n, i'm serious."
"Good."
"Great."
We both walk back to Conrad's car and we sat in silence until we got back. We got to the house and slowly walk inside.
I seen my mom as soon as I walked in. She opens her mouth to talk to me. Then I just whisper, "Please don't mom. I can't talk to you right now."
She nods her head and I run upstairs. I get into my bedroom and change into pajamas. I slowly get into my bed and check my phone.

Y/n- I chose Conrad Taylor..
Taylor- Stupid choice, he could definitely break your heart.
Y/n- So could Jere, I chose Conrad Taylor. You want to talk about the fact that you're in love with Steven.
Taylor- OMG Y/N! Honestly i'm glad one of you noticed. Belly cannot be bothered to even notice me sometimes. Thank you for noticing, can we PLEASE talk about Steven.
Y/n- Go ahead, talk away.
Taylor- Is he dating anyone?
Y/n- No he isn't. But he has eyes for this girl named Shayla or something.
Taylor- UGGGH, tell him he's too good for Shayla or whatever.
Y/n- Shayla is really pretty and rich. Better snatch up your mans now..
Taylor- No, i'll just let him realize he's in love with me after all 🙄
Y/n- Ok, i'm going to bed Tay. Love you!!
Taylor- Love you too Y/n.

I plug my phone in and turn to my side. When i'm almost asleep I hear a faint knock on my door. I shoot right up and quietly whisper, "Yeah come in."
"It's me, Jeremiah." He whispers.
"Oh hey Jere, what's up?" I ask moving the hair out of my face.
"I just wanted to see if you got my texts?" He asks closing my door behind him.
"I did, I didn't know how to respond. I'm sorry I should've." I whisper wiping my eyes.
"It's alright, we can just talk now." He states sitting on my bed.
"Ok, that's fine." I say with my voice straining.
"So we should go on a date tomorrow." He whispers awkwardly.
"Jere i'm sorry, Conrad and I." Then he cuts me off.
"I understand, goodnight Y/n." He states basically running out of my room.
I get up and follow Jeremiah out. "Jere wait!" I yell when we get down to the beach.
"Y/n what do you want me to say?! You are so selfish for letting Conrad actually get to you! He's going to break your heart and I don't want you crawling back to me when he does! I don't know why I went for you instead of Belly. Belly is way prettier anyways!" He yells in my face throwing his hands around.
"Fine Jeremiah. I'm sorry. I am so so sorry Jere. What the hell do you want me to say? You just degraded me over picking Conrad. And you still think I should've picked you?"
"Shut the hell up Y/n."
I turn around and start running back towards the house sobbing. Before I get in Susannah yells, "Y/n, hey sweetheart what's wrong?!"
"Susannah i've messed everything up."
"Hey what did you mess up?" She asks pulling me into a hug.
"Jere is so mad at me, I messed up our friendship Susannah."
"No he will forgive you Y/n. You guys are best friends."
"I hope your right."
"I am, now let's get you to bed sweetie."
Once we get to my bedroom she tucks me into my bed and lays next to me the whole night.
