Cousins

Chapter four

*In the morning*

I wake up to Conrad staring at me. He was still laying on my chest. I laugh and ask, "What?"

"You were drooling." He teases.

"Shut up Con." I say pushing him off of me.

"Good morning sleeping beauty." He laughs sitting up next to me.

"Good morning Prince Charming." I respond also in a laugh.

"Wanna go on a muffin run?" He asks grabbing my hand and tracing my veins.

"Yeah, let me get dressed." I whisper standing up.

"Ok."

I change into a pair of jean shorts and an oversized t-shirt. I throw on a pair of my sandals and quickly walk out. "Ready." I huff walking over to him.

"Alright, i'm just gonna wear this. I don't really care that much." He says opening the door and walking out after me.

We walk downstairs and Jere, Belly, and Steven are in the kitchen. I immediately push Conrad to the door and ask quietly, "Can we please dodge them?"

"Yeah, let me go grab my keys from the kitchen. Go wait in the car."

When he walks to the kitchen I walk outside to the car. Before I can get in I hear my mom yell from behind me. "Hey, where you going?"

"Muffin run, with Conrad." I yell back while turning around.

"Alright, at least your eating. Susannah wanted me to tell you that you have a Deb ball thing later today with Belly."

"I'll be there of course."

"Ok, i'm driving you, so don't be late. It's in two hours."

"Alright, love you mom."

"Love you too sweetie."

When she walks in Conrad walks out a few moments after her. "You're driving!" He yells walking closer to me.

My eyes widen. "Seriously?" I ask with a big smile.

"Yes, but please don't wreck my car Y/n." He says handing me the keys.

"I will try not to." I respond, trying to reassure him.

"Not convincing enough." He laughs while he walks towards me inches by inch.

"If I crash your car we're gonna get married." I say cringing after every word.

"Ok i'm driving then." He states with a smile while grabbing the keys.

"No Con, I won't crash your car." I laugh rolling my eyes.

"Fine, but one slip up, and you're done."

"Ok, ok." I whisper getting in the drivers seat.

After a few minutes of driving Conrad asks, "Should I play some music?"

"Let's just talk." I respond glancing over him for a second before almost swerving off the road.

"If we talk will you stay on the actual road?" He asks panicked.

"Connie how are you doing?" I ask leaning back in my seat.

"I'm fine." He laughs.

"Con seriously, how are you doing?" I ask with a serious face.

"I'm fine whenever i'm around you Y/n." He state's seductively.

"Conrad please don't do that." I quietly say.
