Ly’s POV
My white hair swayed in the night air, two boys who I was cheating on were talking.
“So how long have you known her?” One asked, Ryan I think his name was.
“I met her about a year back at a nightclub; we’ve been dating for three months.” Cameron said.
“What?! I’m dating her!”
“What?!”
“Ly is mine!”
“No she’s not, she’s mine!” The two started fighting in the middle of the sidewalk, in front of everyone.
In the end, Ryan won; he had knocked Cameron out by putting him in a chokehold. He walked up to me with open arms and a warm smile across his face.
“I choose…neither! What kind of boyfriend doesn’t care when his girlfriend cheats on him with someone else? How can I know you won’t cheat on me? I don’t want to date either of you! You’re both losers who I’ve been leading on for God only knows how long!”
“Ly!” Ryan said, his face falling. I glared at him with my crystal clear blue eyes.
“Yeah that’s my name! Stay out of my life, because I never once loved you! See you Ryan!” I said before turning around, tossing my long white hair over my shoulder and sauntering away from the broken hearted boy.
“Ly, aren’t other people so stupid?” A voice asked, I was tired and just thought it was all just in my head.
“Yes, everyone else is so easily deceived, but I’m glad they are; it make’s getting my way much more simpler than if they were as intelligent as I, although sometimes it’s irritating.” I said slyly.
“Lybria haven’t you ever wanted real friends who would support you through thick and thin, and you would trust them and you’d never have to lie to them?” The voice asked.
“No, don’t call me by that name…”
“I think that was the worst lie that you’ve ever told.”
“Shut up…you don’t know anything about me…” I said, wishing deep inside that I really did have friends.
“I know that you really do want friends Ly, just sign the paper.” The voice said as a paper appeared, and if there’s anything that I know it’s when someone’s lying.
“You’re lying!” I snapped at the voice.
“I truly do promise that you will have friends if you sign the paper.” The voice said I felt for the first time in a long time true honesty. I nodded and signed my name, Lybria Lyconides.
“Thank you Lybria.” The voice said as I was knocked out by something.
