chapter 16

The next morning bakugo woke up and looked at the time before groaning softly and turning over in his bed. He didn't want to go to school today but he had to see izuku and denki and ask them why they didn't answer his calls when he needed them. So he slowly climbed out of bed and got dressed for school pulling on an oversized hoodie and some leggings along with conversed.

He grabbed his car keys and bag and made himself a small breakfast to go, which was just a frozen waffle that he warmed up and a fruit smoothie. He quickly ate the waffle while sitting in his car before starting it and driving off to school. Once he made it to the school he parked his car and got out of it locking it up, he was glad that no one had seen what car he was driving so no one could mess with it.

Bakugo slowly walked into the building and was met with momo, sero, and Mina who practically formed a protective circle around him while he walked to his locker once there he opened it up and a whole bunch of notes fell out. Mina picked up one and read it before quickly tearing it up and throwing it away.

Momo and sero had also grabbed a few letter and didn't even read them they just threw them away, but bakugo had majority of the letters and were reading all of them each one making him tear up more and more. He quickly threw them away and grabbed his books for class and pushed his bookbag into the locker before closing and locking it "has denki..or izuku shown up yet?"

Mina nods softly "yea..denki is at football practice and izuku I believe he's in class already or he's watching denki". Bakugo nods and began walking to the football field, when he got there he saw izuku sitting on the bleachers so he went over to him while sero sat a safe distance away and Mina and momo went to get ready for cheerleader practice.

"Hey..izuku.." bakugo said softly and izuku looked at him and smiled "hey princess! I've missed you-" bakugo shook his head as he cuts izuku off "no..I called you and denki yesterday..i-i needed you both but instead you ignored, took denki on a date and posted how he was the best boyfriend like I don't even exist!" Bakugo whisper-shouted at izuku.

Izuku pulled out his phone and looked at his call log and saw 3 missed calls from bakugo "I'm so sorry baby..we turned our phones off" bakugo bit his bottom lip as he crossed his arms "and you weren't in school yesterday..." izuku looked at bakugo with confusion "but school was canceled yesterday?"

"No it wasn't..." bakugo shook his head as izuku stood up and hugged him "I'm sorry..me and denki saw a message on Instagram saying that school was closed yesterday" bakugo gave a small hug back and sighed "it's ok..I guess...I'm gonna head to class" bakugo stepped off the bleachers and left quickly while izuku watched him leave before sighing and sitting down on the bleachers.

Sero moved closer to izuku and looked at him "he had a horrible day at school yesterday...you should check uraraka's Instagram" sero stood up and left for class as well and izuku looked at uraraka's Instagram and gasped seeing bakugo covered in foods and drinks while crying.

Denki soon came over to izuku and izuku showed him the picture and multiple videos of bakugos unfortunate day yesterday.

Later that day during lunch bakugo decided to leave to get his lunch from somewhere else so he left the school without telling anyone he was leaving. But sero noticed him leaving and decided to follow him, "hey! Bakugo where are you going?" Bakugo turned to look at sero and shrugged "I'm not eating here..I'm gonna head to a restaurant to eat maybe taco bell or something" sero nods and smiled "is it alright if I join you?" Sero asked as bakugo nodded "I'd like that thank you" sero wrapped an arm around bakugos neck in a friendly manner as they walked but unknowingly jiro was watching them and taking pictures of them as they left in seros car, a black impala with slightly tinted windows.

A few minutes later they returned and sat in the car as they ate, and talked until they heard the lunch bell ring. They both hopped out of the car and bakugo wiped his clothes off as they had some crumbs on it. As sero and bakugo began walking into the school Mina and momo came out and Mina was pissed "bakugo!" Bakugo flinched and looked at her "yes Mina? Is something wrong?"

Mina suddenly slapped bakugo before showing him the pictures "why the fuck is my boyfriend holding you like this?!" Bakugo held his face as he looked at the picture "he was giving me a hug while we went to get f-food" bakugo held out a bag of Wendy's, one of minas favorite fast food places "s-see we even got you food..." bakugo began to tear up as he handed her the bag of food only for her to throw it away "your a fucking liar! If I ever see you come near sero again I'll beat your fucking ass!" Bakugo began to cry as sero stepped between them "what the hell Mina! You know damn well bakugo has been going through shit recently you can't just go around believing everything that people show you-" bakugo cuts sero off "n-no..it's ok..I should've known better than to let you join me for food..." bakugo trailed off and turned to leave.

Bakugo rushed to his jeep and hopped in before speeding off his jeep jumping the curb a bit as he drove off his wheels squealing and making tire tracks on the road as he sped down the street. Mina looked at momo who shook her head "mina..you know bakugo would never do something like that especially when we're his only friends...I tried to tell you that but you wouldn't listen.." momo turned and walked into the school and sero followed her not saying a word to Mina who simply stared at where bakugo was once parked.

Once bakugo got home he parked his car in the driveway though it was partially on the grass he got out of his car and locked up the doors before rushing into his house and locking the front door he went up to his room and pulled out his smoking box and within half an hour his room almost completely full of smoke but he just kept smoking until his eyes were barely opened and no more tears flowed down his cheeks. He puts out the blunt he was smoking and went to take a shower. After his shower he pulled on just and oversized hoodie and boy shorts and curled up into a ball on his bed and fell asleep.

When he woke up again his phone was buzzing like crazy so he opened it up to see hundreds of messages and missed calls from Mina, izuku, sero, and denki but left the messages on read and didn't bother calling anyone back. He didn't feel like talking to anyone. He simply resparked his blunt and continued binge smoking without eating ignoring the growing pain in his stomach.

Once that blunt was gone he began rolling another one until their was a knock on his door, so he went downstairs and opened the door and there stood momo and toru both holding a few bags of snacks and drinks and some food, bakugo let's them inside and they head to his room after he closed and locked the door again.

Once inside of bakugos room they comforted him while they watched movies and ate snacks until bakugo fell asleep again and they left quietly making sure to lock the door behind them using a key bakugo had given only momo after the party they had.
