chapter 17

It's been a week since Mina slapped bakugo and he hadn't been going to school, well he has but he leaves as soon as lunch starts. Momo would come by almost everyday to bring him food so he wouldn't starve himself, he barely used his phone anymore and hardly ever slept. He would do his school work virtually so that he wouldn't be left behind in his classes.

It was now Friday and bakugo finally had the courage to go to school for a full day, though his gut told him it was a horrible idea he ignored and it and went to school, he wore an oversized black hoodie, a white skirt that went just above his knees and a pair of knee high socks and vans. He didn't make breakfast and simply left for school. Once there he parked far away from the other cars hiding his under a few trees so no one knew he was there and pulled his hoodie over his head.

He walked into the school and went straight to his locker, grabbed his books ignoring the graffiti on his locker and the notes that fell out of it and went straight to class once he was at his desk In the far back of the classroom he laid his head on his graffitied desk and sighed softly as his finger traced the word 'freak' on his desk as small tears dripped off his nose. Then he traced another word 'transbitch' and bit his lower lip hard as his hands began to tremble.

Halfway through class the intercom came on and a male voice spoke through it "hey mrs.wige (wig) is katsuki bakugo in your class today?" The teacher looked around before spotting bakugo "yes is he.." the man on the intercom sighed and spoke "please send him to the guidance office" the teacher nods "will do" the intercom Shuts off as bakugo stands up and the class began to boo him as he quickly left the class while a few stated that he was in trouble. The teacher shushed the class while they laughed.

Once bakugo was at the guidance office he went into the of the guidance counselor office and sat down "yes mr.aizawa?" Bakugo asked as he kept his head down. Mr.aizwa sighed softly and looked at bakugo "katsuki..what has been going on? Your one of our smartest students yet your attendance has been less than admirable in the last week is everything ok?" Bakugo held back his tears as he nodded "yea..I've just been a bit tired..." mr.aizawa sighed again "katsuki..if you don't tell me what's going on I won't be able to help you..this is a safe space if something or someone is bothering you we can help you..".

Bakugo looked at aizawa as tears rolled down his cheeks and throat wetting his hoodie collar a bit "no you can't...ill tell you whats happening..then you'll either give me some useless advice that'll only make things worse or you'll try and talk to them and again make things worse.." bakugo stands up "I'm fine" bakugo grabs his belongings and leaves the office as the bell rang for second period and bakugo took his sweet time getting there knowing that both uraraka and jiro were in that class and sat nearby him.

Bakugo should've listened to his gut, cause now here he was in gym class with uraraka, Mina, jiro and izuku during third period and he had to run laps for missing class this week, which he didn't mind doing but when he hasn't eaten a full meal in a whole week only snacks and noodles he could feel himself getting sicker by the minute but Mr.might wasn't gonna let bakugo stop running until he ran a full mile (which is four laps around the track) bakugo was on his third lap when he noticed his vision blurring and felt the bile rising in his throat.

His running became sloppy as he felt himself close to collapsing on the track. Suddenly all the food he ate came up at once and he ran straight to the closest trashcan almost not making it as he threw up on the edge and inside of it as his body trembled he could hear the class laughing at him. Mina ran over and began patting his back as he threw up.

Mr. Might jogged over to check on bakugo before telling him to sit on the bleachers. Bakugo went to the top of the bleachers and leaned his head against the protective bars on the back of them. He closed his eyes as he caught his breath but soon he opened his eyes to see uraraka and jiro standing over him, he sighed softly "why can't yall just leave me alone" he mumbled softly.

Uraraka giggled "why would we leave a boyfriend stealing freak like you alone?" Bakugo growled a bit in anger as he stood up "say that again I fucking dare you..I'm tired of your shit" he glared at her, but gasped when uraraka suddenly splashed water on him and he snapped grabbing uraraka by her hair and swinging on her punching her in the face.

Uraraka dropped the water she was holding as she tried to swing back on bakugo getting a few hit in, jiro jumped in quickly and pulled bakugo by his hoodie making him release uraraka but he wasted no time to punch jiro in the nose breaking it, she let's go of bakugo and held her nose as uraraka grabbed onto bakugos hair and they continued fighting. Uraraka took a step back forgetting she was on the bleachers and fell backwards pulling bakugo down with her they tumbled down the bleachers while everyone watched and recorded. Mina and izuku ran Over to breakup the fight.

Bakugo was the first to stand up from the fall and immediately began kicking and stomping on uraraka. Uraraka quickly stood up and punched bakugo in the face almost knocking him over but he kept his balance even with a bleeding eyebrow and busted lip from the fall he drugged uraraka to the ground by her shirt and continued punching her uraraka then grabbed bakugos leg and he fell on top of her and they began rolling in the grass as they kept exchanging hits.

Uraraka somehow got the upper hand and kicked bakugo one good time in the stomach knocking the wind out of bakugo who gasped for air. Mina and izuku were pushing through the crowd along with Mr. Might, jiro ran down the bleacher steps and began helping uraraka jump bakugo stomping on his face and stomach finally mr. Might was able to breakup the fight. Izuku ran over to bakugo and gently picked him up bridal style and this only angered uraraka more. Izuku ran off with bakugo and Mina followed calling momo on the way to the infirmary.

Bakugo had fallen unconscious during the fight and was now waking up in the infirmary laying on one of the beds. He looked around before noticing denki, Mina, izuku, momo, toru and sero waiting for him to wake up along with mr.aizawa, mr.might, and the principal nedzu, a short asian male with long white hair and glasses, nedzu was the first to notice bakugo waking up and clapped a bit "ah bakugo your awake good..mind explaining what happened today in gym class?" Bakugo groaned as he sat up slowly and held his stomach a bit "I threw up...so I sat on the bleachers for a bit to calm down and..uraraka and jiro came while I had my eyes closed...then they poured water On me and we started fighting" bakugo grumbled as he winced him pain.

Nedzu nods softly and hums "well..you broke jiros nose...and you knocked a tooth out of uraraka's mouth...so you'll be suspended for a month" bakugos nods already knowing this would happen "and what about them? They've been bullying me all week what's their punishment?" Mr. Aizawa sighed softly "they will be having in school suspension (iss) for a 3 weeks" izuku snapped his neck as he looked at the staff in front of him "WHAT?! They started this fight and jumped him yet he gets the harsher punishment?!" Izuku yelled but bakugo stopped him "Its fine...this is how the school system works..the ones getting bullied decides to stick up for themselves and they get the harder punishment while they ignore what the bully did..it doesn't matter that my locker and desk were both destroyed by them writing slurs on it or the fact that they poured numerous foods and drinks on me..or ruined an important friendship of mine..all they care about is what I did" bakugo coughs a bit as he climbs off the infirmary bed "I'm going home.." bakugo left grabbing his bag and books from his locker, he then hopped into his car and sped home.

Meanwhile in the infirmary aizawa was sitting on the bed bakugo was once on "look...if I had a choice in their punishments I'd expell uraraka and jiro in a minute without hesitation but I can't make that choice and bakugo is correct this is how the school system works and it's quite sad..." izuku and denki sighed while Mina looked down at her hands she felt guilty she should've kept an eye on bakugo after he got sick then she could've helped him fight, hell she shouldn't have believed that stupid photo...
